One of the funniest comments we have seen on here in a while:
- [CW] did in fact try to rally the troops on 2nd watch roll call. Mentioned that Capt. B made a HORRIBLE mistake and that we should-- get this-- "embrace" the media-- they in fact are our friends. I have never witnessed the phenomenon of a man that can actually stand erect without a spine- but now that I have, I'm a better person.
It almost sounds like a Mark Twain quote, but we can't find anything he said like that. And to use it to describe one or more of the exempts of the CPD is so very fitting. Thanks for the laughs.

what else does one expect from someone who replaced (or superseded) another who is imcompentent, one who has no experience with patrol issues, whose ego is ten times his hat size, yet....Cline fiddles, while Rome...you get the idea...
Make sure you all show up for the boss's parade on St. Jude Day.
The range fully staffed? The guys are never at area 5 on afternoons. Must be on lunch. Approve new guns? The way most clowns on this dept. shoot the training would cost a fortune. How many gun cleaning accidents would happen with those glocks? Just stick with the guns you got.
St. Jude is for the Gold Star families and the fallen officers, you turd.

I agree During my years I have received numerous close calls by other police officers. We all know we receive no training as far as firearms go. Well AS a matter of fact we receive no training period,of any kind. Keep the Guns you got
St. Judess is not the bosses parade. It's about the only time we show some solidarity.
Go to the parade, bring the kids and get to the TV cameras and tell them no how bad things are, no matter how bad the city cuts our benefits, no matter what we are here.
And ask the media, "Where is Richie anyway?"

I'm not going to ST.JUDE to make a point to the mayor and bosses. Im sure you will say it's for the fallen police officer's well it is and they are in my heart and mind and shouldn't be thought/honored only one time a year.. This will be the first time in 14 years. If they would have left it downtown that would have been a different story..

St. Jude is and always has been used in the building as a measure of a unit commander's control over his personnel. You can't really think those exempts care about you. If you don't want to boycott, then at least come up with a way to dis the exempt reviewers.
I know its hard to spot an area 5 range guy since they never wear uniforms. Even the range sgt. walks around in sweat pants.

No one covers a lone sign carrier at 35th and Michigan. Do you think a boycott of St. Jude or a counter march at another location might draw some attention to the management labor conflict that is destroyng the CPD? Hit 'em where it hurts.
