Sneed Beats a Dead Horse
- Sneed's keeping tabs: At last peek, the FBI was still in the process of determining whether interim Chicago Police Supt. Dana Starks will be granted FBI security clearance to share classified info dealing with the FBI, CIA and Homeland Security should a terrorist threat occur on his watch. The FBI shot down claims they misplaced or lost the clearance forms Starks claims he submitted twice before. The forms were submitted more than a month ago and are still being studied. Stay tuned.
Who the heck is she carrying water for? We get the picture - you don't want Starks. Neither do we. But geez. Is Phil really that bitter?

Starks has so much luggage that not only will the FBI NOT give him Federal Clarence, I heard the Mayor won't even trust him the "Key to the City" he was suppose to give to a visiting offical.

True agin alderman burke tells her what to do that is why they go on vacations together! Burke owns her like the slave masters of the past! starks is dumb as a stone and obviously cannot be trusted by the fbi or even us the rank and file!

the delay may be with an issue that commonly occurs, that being when the FBI discovers that the applicant's answer is not what they have discovered. For example if the applicant relates no financial issues, and the FBI discovers a judgement against him, they stop the investigation until the applicant responds with why he didn't mention the discovered issue. Usually clearances take about six months (if no issues arise).
Maybe Sneed should get a hold of the fact, with such a shortage of officers in the districts, that the Interim Supt has 6-7 so called officers in his office with a district manager that he saved from termination. She gets over 70,000 a year for doing WHAT? One of the officers is his meal maker and most likely bed maker so why whould he put her on the street where she has never been?? And are there any F/2's in his office, of course not, he only deals with F/1's!! A lead by example should be made and he should be the first to eliminate more than half of his staff and put them in beat cars to learn the job before it is time to retire or will they retire if they are sent to the streets? I am sorry, what were they hired as?
I HOPE its a dead horse.
Rumors say STARKS could be condsidered for the big job and someone with BRAINS would run the show. It's all up in the air.

Jeez....we're going to crack on Starks about the number of staff he has in his office? Does anyone know how many cocksuckers (male AND female) CLINE had on the 5th floor? And has any Supt. in recent memory EVER promoted his driver to SGT. and then brought him back to hdqtrs. as his SGT. DRIVER? Face it, no incoming Supt., not even Starks, will ever come close to the "do as I say, not as I do" attitude that marked Cline's administration. And no one will ever have carte blanche to promote bozos with NO COLLEGE to the rank of Sgt. AND EXEMPT, including the former Sgt. (for 18 months) who is now "Chief Footman" in Melrose Park! You want to talk about "no college?" Now, that's a guy who rode that bitch into the Big time! Imagine, from footpost to Chief of Police in about 2 years. Only in Crook County!!
I'd take Starks as Supt. over that guy ANY TIME...and what does that say about Melrose Park? Out of all the coppers on their Dept., THAT was the best they could come up with to run the place? Were the officers on their force all hired from a temp agency?? WTF??????
The fact that Starks had the audacity to say that the FBI lost his paperwork twice speaks volumes.
He should be disqualified and demoted just for making those false statements.

Well that Sgt Driver must be good since the Interim has kept him as his guy now too. Just goes to show that Starks is not as vindictive as the old Supt. Sure he holds grudges so I guess we will just have to wait until he is named to see what and who he does!

MELROSE PARK IS NOTHING BUT SHIT ANYWAY CONTROLED BY STROGER HE GAVE THE ORDER TO GIVE THE DOOFUS THE JOB SIMPLE AS THAT!
FYI, EVERY AGENCY LOSES PAPERWORK.
EVERY SINGLE ONE. The FBI is no exception. I know law enforcement people in other agencies who have told me that the FBI lost their initial paperwork for FBI clearances also. I don't think all of them would make it up. It happens.
Second, just because the Interim Supt. has kept Sgt. Driver around doesn't mean he's "good." Maybe good head is just hard to come by!
What do Sneed, Burke and Cline have in common??

Again, this just has to be asked...WHY is the FBI being quoted in a GOSSIP COLUMN? WHY would they place themselves directly in the middle of a public bashing of the interim Supt. by a slimeball reporter who is clearly grinding the axe of Cline, or one of his leftover shoeshine boys from the 5th floor?
After the way in which the FBI left Joe Airhart to take all the risk in their "ruse" entry and then abandoned him (several years ago), should we take ANYTHING they have to say at face value? I think we all know the answer to that one!
