Is This a Dream?

  • The Chicago Blackhawks say they've met with Comcast SportsNet executives to discuss the possibility of television some home games.
  • The team says no definite agreement has been reached. But officials say televising games this season would be a good step to re-energize team fans.
Re-energize fans? How about restoring trust? How about reminding everyone that hockey once existed in this town?

Bill must be spinning in his grave - actually building a fan base? What are his boys thinking?!?

It's about time. With the decline in ticket sales over the past few years and putting a shit product on the ice the Blackhawks have got to start doing something to try and get the fan base back.

Is it possible that the Wirtz boys have figured out that the Chicago Wolves are more loved and respected than the BLackhawks?

They have a lot of ground to make up to build a fan base again.

Please check me-literally am I alive. Home games in my life time on free tv....

I am half a century old, saw man land on the moon, Vietnam end family made it home safe, the Berlin wall fall, Bears, Bulls and Sox, Wolves won it all, fullfilled my dream of being the real police
after years of law suits reverse discrimination, but yet no cup since 1961 when i was four.

This is the best dream ive ever had, why when the Hawks win the cup i am going to loot at the Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg or one of the new Loewes stores being built in Chicago.

Go Savey Go Savey, bye bye Pully.

I think you could put an all female naked hockey team on the ice and NO one would go. Lets face it the HAWKS suck and the fans are not going to run to the gates for tickets. Hockey sucks ! Rocky sucks! & Peter sucks !
