Evidently, the State Journal Register has picked up the Daily Southtown article, butchered it up again and posted it on the front page in Springfield, Illinois. So we guess we'll be having state reps and senators visiting soon. In that case:
- Emil, resign please!
- Mike, resign please!
- Rod, resi...oh wait, you already get us in the Southtown and the Sun Times. Resign anyway!
Anyone left in Springfield after these resignations, please stop letting the Daley machine run the rest of the state. We know much of Illinois is, while not out and out Republican, at least conservative leaning, Blue-dog democrats who support gun rights, smaller government and tax cuts. Start acting like it one of these days. Thanks.

Hey SCC, I live in Springfield and work for the P.D here. I have family on the job in Chicago and I read your article in the State Journal Register. I have been telling my co-workers about your site and they read it regularly. Keep telling it like it is. Someone has to.
SCC, if this has any positive effect on the criminals we have running things here let's take it to a whole nubba level. Think big, be bold and empower the people. Blogo, Daily, Toddler, all crooks. Oust the asses and please the masses.
Oh, and while you're at it, do you think you could make it cool to be an American again? I mean a God fearing, child rearing, good old Uncle Sam type American? I know it's a tall order but damn! I'm sick of changing our society, our traditions, our way of life because it offends some shitlick from God-knows-where.

This state will never change! The Gov was on the news yesterday saying he will agree to a casino in chicago as long as the money goes toward education and infrastucture.
O.K. showing my age here. I remember when the big Illinois lottery debate was going on and it was agreed and even voted on that all of the proceeds were to be used for the schools and the hiways. One of the big promises was that the Toll way would become a freeway. And Illinois would have the best education system in the country.
LIES, LIES and More LIES. The tolls have been raised 10 times amd the Public schools in Illinois came in 48th out of 50 states.
What the hell are they doing with all of that money.

Come on Springfield, pay up. Chicago and Cook county pay most of the states taxes and thus should get more in return.
