Bottom Feeders Back Out
- Attorneys representing the family of a man who was shot and killed by an off-duty Chicago police officer in April 2006 have dropped a wrongful death suit against the city and the officer.
Officer [...] fatally shot Demetri Centera, 31, and his friend, Kenneth Elrod, after a dispute at a Northwest Side bar. The Police Department cleared the officer of wrongdoing.
The Loevy & Loevy law firm declined to comment Thursday on why the Centera suit was dropped. A suit over Elrod's death, filed by another law firm, remains pending.
Now, if the officer could turn around and sue Andy Dick Loevy for anything said or filed that put the officer in a bad light for a completely justifiable shooting, perhaps the karmic scales could begin to realign a bit.

The union legal fund was set up to handle such things, along with other major disaters. The union SHOULD be funding this lawsuit, not using the money to pay for everyday things

That off-duty cop was working security at that bar. This is a violation of Dept. General orders and should be handled as such.

There is no security/bouncers at that bar u jack ass! The(DEAD!) offender started a fight with a patron who defended himself and did a good job at that. The (DEAD!) offender had a napolean complex and couldn't handle the fact that he didn't have 4 or 5 other shitbag! gang bangers to help him out of a situation he started. The off-duty intervened before the (DEAD!) offender learned what a true asskicking would have felt like. Don't speak of what you have non knowledge of you JACKASS MOTHERFUCKER!
