A True Heroine

  • In the 26 years since former Black Panther Mumia Abu-Jamal gunned down her cop husband on a Philadelphia street, Maureen Faulkner has often felt like a reed in a tornado.

As death penalty opponents rallied to win Abu-Jamal a new trial, contending that he had been framed by police, Faulkner quietly fought back, one hearing at a time.

She never missed a court hearing through the long appeals process, even after she moved from Philadelphia to Southern California. She's appeared at pro-Abu-Jamal events, handing out fliers to explain the evidence that led a jury to sentence him to death.
In the face of thousands of lies and endless celebrity BS, she has fought the good fight to keep Danny Faulkner's name and the truth of the circumstances of his death out of the darkness.

It is a crime that she has to live this every day of her life. When will it end. It would be nice if Ed Azner, or other celebrities supporting the cause have one of their loved ones gunned down by a savage, and then have people rally around to free the one responsible.
Makes me sick. I would like, just once, someone assume responsibilty for their actions. That might be too much to ask for.

FRAME? Why would the police go out of their way to put the WRONG person in prison for murdering one of our own?
The only time that we actually care if someone goes to prison is then why would we frame the wrong person? what justice is that? Sometimes I wonder if the whole world has lost its mind, and by sometimes I mean all the time and by has lost its mind I mean is fucking nuts.

I cannot imagine the sadness and rage that consumes ever moment after his passing. But, please take some comfort(if you can) that we as a family mourn his passing and me for one, wake up everyday enraged that a police officers life was taken. We don't need movie stars(etc....) to express our feelings, because we as a family understand that he lives not only within your heart but with the officers that still do the job. God bless you and your family.

This guy is so guilty it makes me sick. I have posted about this before, and someone needs to have Ed Asner and the other liberal we want a cause asshats sit down with Maureen Faulkner and hear her side of the story. Like how she buried her husband just when their life together was beginning. As has been said before, Mumia might dodge the hot shot in this life, but there is a higher authority he will answer to someday. I'm in no hurry to go, but hearing the conversation between this rat and the one who sits in judgement would be sweet. Burn in hell you murdering pig.

Her book "Murdered by Mumia" is a good read.
It's hardback, so it costs a little more.
But, the proceeds go to the legal fund.

I read about her around 8 years ago in Newsweek. The celebrities that support the cop killer is amazing. From Rage Against The Machine(no suprise) to Tim Robbins(ditto) but I think Paul Newman also. Boycott anyone that supports this killer. His wife has been spit on and called a whore by this killers supporters. The basis of his appeal is that he had a twin and that he did the killing. The catch is that his twin was killed about 15 years ago.

Let's push for a release for Sirhan Sirhan (sp?) in the killing of Bobby Kennedy. Or how about the a--hole that killed John Lennon? If you sought their release the libtards would scream to high hell. Let's start a movement.

There is a lot of evil out there. It comes in the form of celebrities pushing lies to gain acceptance in their own circles. It comes as reverend-poverty-pimps that push their own agenda while their followers slaughter each other in the streets. And sometimes it comes as simply as a shithead with a gun.

The fight against this evil will go on long after all of us are gone. Its nice to see the dedication of the front line soliders like Daniel and Maureen Faulkner.

At the recent National Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) conference in Alabama, delegates in attendance vote unanimously to begin a boycott of:

1. Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Products (donators to a defense fund for the killer).

2. Actor Paul Newman, and his products

3. Actress Susan Sarandon

4. Filmmakers Spike Lee, Oliver Stone and John Landis

5. Writers Norman Mailer and Joyce Carol Oates

6. Supermodel Naomi Campbell

7. Musicians Sting, Rage Against the Machine, Beasty Boys, David Byrne and Michael Stipe of REM

8. The Backstreet Boys who are performing "free" benefit concerts for the killer's defense fund. One of their "benefit concerts" scheduled for Baltimore, MD had to be canceled when Baltimore police officers refused to work the overtime shifts for security at the concert.
