Brown dropped his papers last week. Maher for the 29th (basically kicked out), The three others you already know. Heard Rosenbrach is going to put in papers. Chasen, not yet, still holding out hope for the Chief spot. Wait until friday.

Troubled Buildings has been an eyesore in this city since it's inception. The perception of of it has disgraced it since Mr's O'Learey's cow kicked the lamp. That in some opinions saved the city in the 1880's till the early 1900's. Now the only ones kicking the lamp are a few coppers in a few areas. Needless to say a few fires have to be lit on the south and West sides to get it back to Olympic quality. Just some fine lit fires and a few good inflagrations will give this fine metropolis the proverbial phoenix like actions needed to surpass Bejing and Paris in it's ultimate quest for Olympic glory!. If you don't believe that then I have a few soggy acres to sell you in southern Florida.

Why don't you SCC put a forum together, a true one, and discuss REAL ways to include people into the merit process or the unit process. Then maybe we can ALL put our heads together and maybe J-Fed can use it as a boilerplate to help put people who deserve spots, ie, getting shot, arrest history etc.etc. Lets stop the in fighting people and move forward. Yah this is the same Sue Ryan that worked for Molloy in 008 thru Unit 112. A couple months before Molloy pulled the plug he sent his personal secretary Sue Ryan over to the intelligence section doing investigations. This is the same Sue Ryan that once worked downtown in the CAPS admin office and felt her clout was so heavy she could tell the administrative Lt. to basically fuck himself in front of the unit, When taken to Molloy this Lt. was told "HANDS OFF" by Molloy. This is also the same Sue Ryan who, when 35th went into panic mode last year disobeyed a direct order from 1st Dep Starks and her commanding officer to don the uniform and report to the main hall downstairs. Instead, she plainly said to her commanding officer "Fuck that, my dog's in the car and I'm leaving" and then promptly left the building.
And yes, this is the same Sue Ryan that was given Molloy's car when he went on furlo and had the balls to actully park the car in his #5 Spot up front as a D/S.

The color-coding on the PDT is for different wavelengths. The idea is that when a wavelength goes out we will only lose a third of the pdts instead of all of them. It is a good idea even if it inconveniences you.

Not to appear to be on the side of management in any way, but dude, having an arrest history as long as my johnson doesn't mean a man is worth SHIT as a supervisor of police nor an administrator of same. Most P.O.'s I know with a great arrest record are about as intelligent as a bag of wet rocks, and as for getting shot, there again, I know of 2 that are complete dumbfucks and were shot out of stupidity, not the bravery you seem to hint at. Management and supervision are best handled by anyone at all who is intelligent enough to know how to manage people in the first place. It's about getting the things you need done by the people under your command and it certainly ain't happening by threat anymore in this department.
Since you obviously aren't smart enough to pass the 8th grade promotional tests given with high enough marks to outweigh your peers, it seems you're just looking for another handout based on your lack of intelligence that's likely been replaced by the ability to outwit the common criminal and the desire to impress.
It's too soon to salute J-Fed on this shakeup. Let's give it time and see if things are really changing. The real test is to wait and see what happens to the first person in blue doing his job. Wiil the department back him or screw him over to please the public.

The PDTs are color coded to match up with Verizon's redundant network. If one part goes down because of a catastrophic failure one or more other subnets should still be available. That way we never completely lose our connectivity; someone's PDT will work.

JFed was at 004 Dist today addressing 3rd Watch roll call. JFed - You need to address 2nd watch where everyone is MISERABLE. Talk to Capt Glombicki AKA Whiskeybreath, then you'll know he has been promoted as one of Cline's guys. And by the way, he only stands up for P.O.'s that drink with him everyday and night.

They were color coded because they are set to operate on different frequencies to lessen the pdt traffic as opposed to one frequency handling all of them. Its supposed to be more efficient but when half of us dont have working pdts it doesnt matter much.

Closed Market has an "office staff" to hand out radios and car keys. Something I am sure district peeps could handle including sharing some radio jobs!
Just like the PO's that DO show up they have no real function except to deplete more manpower.
The sgt is a twit and she takes care of her do nothing friends. Gives them a pass when they are too busy to show up and hides others that are too scared to hit the street with the rest of her office staff.
CARS! Now they may not be the cream of the crop but they start-stop-steer (okay i exaggerated a bit). In any case it beats what we have now which are no cars in many cases. They want cops on the street but no cars or better yet yo waste half the tour looking for a car. Then once you find it some hard-charging CAPS officer needs it to run and do her shopping!
Radios! Like the cars maybe not the best but I am sure they could be put to GOOD use elsewhere. (or sell them on ebay and buy some new ones)
BOTTOM LINE - It is a waste of personnel and equipment. Just another one of clines ideas gone bad and no one wants to admit it.

I answered this in a different thread. The colors are because they have different networks to even out the load on the servers. Just wait till OEC reprograms one so that even though it has a red dot, it will only work with yellow mounts (or whatever). See how long you are figuring out that one.
This would be a fine idea if the PDT's all worked (Yuk yuk), but when you have a blue dot and the radio room only has red dots, you are SOL.
How about the new Superintendent only taking the very best care of his buddies. New players at the top but same old buddy system in place. You will come to see and learn that nothing really ever changes.

However, they had another name for it when the watch commander had prisoners viewed at roll call. Herhold was promoted when D. Rayl was commander. Egan was promoted when J. Carroll was commander, but the paperwork was submitted by Rayl.
Did Molloy help? I don't know, but if it was a done deal, Rayl would not have asked their sergeant for his recommendation and input.

Just because you did some time in our Armed Forces doesn't necessarily mean you're qualified to be the Police here. Some of these "former___________(you fill it in)" are "former" due to issues you may not know about. The nutcase who shot up Cole Hall was a "former" Army guy too. Maybe those guys couldn't pass the psychological, or something in their background check popped up.
Lots of Ts to cross and i's to dot before one is offered the job. Even then, we don't discriminate enough, in my opinion. Far too many who should have been culled from the herd turn up in blues.
I never knew cline. When people started talking about cline I thought they meant that gult. from 006 with a slight german accent. He was older but had a good build. Then when I saw this porky pig cline. Nope never knew him. I'm Southside. They're all Northsiders. I never go north, I need numbers on my streets. Thats the way I roll. Numerically.
