More Corruption
Thank goodness the feebs added those extra corruption task forces here:
- Federal authorities are asking questions about a controversial contract awarded last year to manage harbors for the Chicago Park District, one of the losing bidders and the state attorney general's office disclosed Wednesday.
The questions involve the Park District's deal with California-based Westrec Marina Inc., which has operated the harbors for more than a decade after the district privatized management. After Westrec won a new five-year contract in December, one of the firms vying for the contract wrote a letter to the U.S. attorney in Chicago and the Illinois attorney general contending the contract process was skewed in favor of Westrec.
Yet another round of the "Chicago Way." But don't worry - Parks Board president Gery Chico says everything is above reproach and just because he's a Daley appointee has nothing to do with his stand. What we wouldn't give for a few of Daley's hand picked henchmen to be waterboarded for a day or so. The tales they could tell.

OT...
I have a few name suggestions for some of our other fearless leaders...
Donna Hughey
Bea Cueless
Oh, and by the way. I work in 001and was wondering why Donna Hughey was having breakfast with J-Fed a couple days ago???? Anyone know?
Waterboarding Daley's cronies is a much too gentle interrogation technique...
I've been a boat owner and in the harbor system for the last 12 years. While Westrec could use some improvement, washroom and shower facilities, etc., they have basically done a very good job of running the harbors. Why change to someone new when you already have a company with a proven track record. When I get a bid for a new roof on my house I always go with the company I know will do a good job, not the low bidder. It sounds like the low bidder "beefed" because he didn't get the contract, and now there is a federal investigation. Its a waste of time and money. There is a lot of P.O's in the harbor system and I've never heard any major complaints about Westrec.
Westrec is doing a good job compared to the waste and mismanagement of the park district. of course this is the govt. and they have to open the contract to all bidders, but this other company just couldn't compete.
if you or i had a mechanic that we liked, we wouldnt even consider leaving or bidding out for another. it would take plenty, usually less cost and equal, if not better service. in this case, how do you know another company will really do a better job until it may be too late.
I once heard that once a person works for the city in an executive position for four years, that person is entitled to a pension from that agency.
Example: 1.If you all notice Monique Bond was the spokes person for the Dept. of Aviation for 4 yrs. and was moved to be the Spokes person for the Police Dept.
2. Ron Huberman ran the OEMC for 4yrs. and then was appointed to run the CTA.
3. Frank Kerusi(sp?) ran the CTA for 4 yrs. and now runs the Museums.
4. Jerry Chico ran the CPS for 4yrs. and now runs the Park District.
Investigate and you will see Mayor Daley keeps moving his cronies around from one post to another to collect six figure pension and get his kick back. More cronies are Trotter and Maurer.
daley ahs done this forever! hey mayor friedo now that they sent your boy sorich to prison hope he talks, why should he be in jail because of the daley crime family? You have sent many away involved with laski, santos and many more when will they get you? I know your hoping osama obama gets in and removes Patrick Fitzgerald so you can continue your evil ways lets hope MCcain wins in a landslide and gets your ass in prison where you belong!
What a joke. The only thing that will happen is MAYBE Chicago might end up giving another SMALL fish to the Feds!
why is it the federal authorities have no stomach for a serious investigation of the dayley administration ?
Keep going!!!
Speaking of corruption, heres what I did on my day off. The wife and I decided to go up to Wisconsin to visit with our son. He resides just over the border in Racine. I figured that as long as we were up there, why not deprive Blago, Stroger and Daley a little tax money. So we went into a grocery store which had everything we needed and did our weekly shopping. No money for the above in the form of tax dollars plus we discovered that Wisconsin does not tax food. We left and then I gassed the car up. Once again I denied the three desperados and thieves any tax dollars. When we left the gas station and were heading home, we saw a car dealership so we decided, why not. We went in, priced a car and will probably go back next week to close the deal when we do our now weekly foray into Wisconsin on our supply trip. I know that that may seem extreme to some of you but just the thought of not giving any of my dollars to those three criminals made it worth it!
Hey Feebs, don't ya know by now, it's all about the kickbacks to the Daley Crime Syndicate? Gee, it's only been going on about 5 decades or so, can't you Fed Boys figure out the common denominator?

Unless you register the car in Wisconsin, you won't get away with paying taxes here at home. The moment you try to get Illinois license plates you'll have to settle up with the department of revenue, and they collect ALL taxes due. If you register the car in Wisconsin and get caught here without registration, the department will slamfuck you.
Nice try though.

Bravo! however, unless you plan on licensing that car in Wisconsin plan on paying the Illinois etc. tax on it. Without that you cannot get plates in Illinois. Let us know if you manage to screw Crook County and Chicago, that alone would make it worth while, I doubt you can get away with not paying State of Illinois tax if you register the car in Illinois. Crook County and Chicago, maybe.
