The Meeks countdown begins in earnest. Negotiations for the proper amount of extorted tax money continue around the clock. And New Trier plans to restrict who can protest where:
- ...New Trier Township school officials said Thursday they will open only one campus next week to an expected influx of city students attempting to make a statement about the financial inequities in Illinois schools.
City students who attempt to enroll at New Trier Township High School's main Winnetka campus on Tuesday will be directed to the 9th-grade campus in Northfield, as will elementary students who report to Sunset Ridge School in Northfield, according to a news release.
One hundred twenty-five buses are on standby. At forty students per bus, that's five thousand kids missing school as part of a political stunt. Meeks will be arriving by private limo no doubt. Has any member of the media asked Obama what he thinks of Meeks contributing to the delinquency of five-thousand kids?

Everyone seems to miss the real problem and that the CPS school system, incompetent and fearful teachers and their union.

State law states the children must attend school everday that it is open, so he is telling these people to break the law. Nice way to teach kids. Perhaps he should take them prior to the city's 1st day incase they can not be registered. Hope he has obtained everyone's shool records, another requirement.
I checked out the NT website, non-residence must pay tuition, they also have to take an entrance exam, so much for many to get in. Even if you live in the district and want to take a bus it costs approx $580 a year. How are these kids going to get there. "mommy' drive them, righttt.
Ought to check out their strict codes of conduct. Most won't last a week if even a day.
I hope NT stands by their policies and politely say, "i"m sorry, come back when you have all the required documents and $$$$$$$$$." After of course, passing the entrance exam.

FTO PROGRAM CHANGES 08/28/08
The Department is planning to roll out changes to the Field Training Program beginning 09 October 08. Full details should be released by the Department early next week.
Here is a brief synopsis of the planned changes.
Field Training Districts will be limited to: 004, 006, 008, 010, 024, 025.
FTOs who are not currently assigned to one of these districts will have two opportunities to bid into one of these training districts. FTOs who are currently assigned to one of these training districts do not need to bid unless they are seeking assignment to one of the other districts.
FTOs who choose not to participate in the program will revert to D-1 status and remain in the district that they are currently assigned to.

Here's a new one, during a seatbelt mission in 003, a vehicle gets stopped for no seatbelt, driver has no d/l, and no insurance. Well turns out the driver, who is wearing what is similiar to a bucket on his head, states that he is with the Nation of Islam and he is exempt from our driving laws. He even provided the P/O'S with his Islam ID card. Needless to say he was properly advised of OUR LAWS and issued citations. He was also given directions to the pound, where he can pick up his car after getting a D/L and Insurance. And no, i am not making fun of his headdress.

There are about 130 TIF districts that cover almost 1/3 of Chicago's real property. TIF districts are the way pols give public money to their private pals for redevelopment projects that are supposed to revitalize all those blighted areas, which is then supposed to increase the value of the property. Often it does. But TIF money goes into a City account for 23 years to be used by the City for other contract give aways to other connected pals for special projects in the TIF district, so the schools don't get a dime of the increased value in the interim.
Think Meeks supported the creation of any of those TIF districts? Anyone wonder why Daley can't make a go of the Chicago City budget with all that extra cash coming in?

Well Mom/Dad, you can use this as a learning opportunity for your children.
Make sure they listen and look as you drive by.
Your kids won't be able to understand "ghetto-ese, so your safe there, and then point out the baggy pants, (who would hire them) grape or orange pop and flammin' hot cheetos, (aka breakfast of champions in the ghetto)
Sit the kids down, and explain that this is what happens when you never have to work for anything.
You can also do a little, This is what happens when you do drugs.
There are any number of lessons the kids could learn.

Obama might not outwardly seem a supporter of the ghetto denizens, but everything he does enables them to continue their ghetto ways. He came up with the Traffic Study program to prove that racial profiling exists. After the study ran for two years and no evidence of profiling was found, they extended the study in a futile attempt to prove that it did exist just to castigate the police. Obama sat in the pews of one of the most racist preachers around and nodded along with this piece of shit's anti American screeds. He called him a surrogate father figure. Most cops like America. Obama is an affront to all of that. If you paid attention to Obama's speech, he proposed all sorts of new programs to cure the problems of a certain group of people who won't take responsibility for their actions and choices and children. How is he going to pay for all this? Lots of tax hikes. Allowing tax cuts to "expire" is a tax hike no matter what anyone else tells you. Cops don't like taxes. These are but a few of the problems cops have with Obama. No one cares that he's educated. They care that he's taking stuff we've earned and giving it to people who have their hands out.
