Hmmm:
A man found decomposed in the trunk of a car in Franklin Park Tuesday night had been shot in the head and strangled, according to an autopsy today.
Residents in the 3400 block of Sarah Street in the northwest suburb called police around 8 p.m. after detecting a strong odor coming from the vehicle. When police opened the trunk, they found the body, said Franklin Park Police Chief Thomas Wolfe.
Police are conducting a homicide investigation.
Identification found on the body matched that of the owner of the car, a 43-year-old man reported missing from Melrose Park on Sept. 13.

It's such a cute 'lil store! I'm more of a Trade Joe's guy (right down the street) and maybe Whole Foods too but Jewel's concept store is nice.
Sure, I like to pick up some healthy eats! And after a tough day pushing a beat car I like to stop by Sam's Whines & Spirits (right down the street from "yuppie Jewel") for some good beer!
But hey, I strive to live a good life. You can't go around angry & hating on everything like some salty ghetto copper!

You know why they are moving everywhere? Because the police are letting them do whatever they want.
Granted, it is very difficult to do our job, but our job can be done. Instead many of us have finally given into the lazy,whiny, do nothing never have been the police never will be the police crowd and decided to lay down right aong with them. Now we are paying the price.
Our neighborhoods are being destroyed as the savages encroach because we chose to let them and the liberal press and politician run the street.

When we were getting our assignments in the last sgt's class Aunt B. and the 1st deputy told us that NO ONE would leave patrol for ONE YEAR. There would be no few months in patrol then off to a unit.
But, of course, two MERITORIOUS sgt.'s have already gone to units. One to EARPS, the other to the Marine unit.
I guess that rule only applied to the new sgt's who aren't heavy.
Anyone have any info on the police chase in 025 yesterday that ended when the moron drove right into 025's rear lot while fleeing and was finally stopped by a tact copper throwing a garbage can at the windshield of his car? Inquiring minds want to know! This has got "Stupidest Criminal TV" written all over it! Is that part of the 25th District curse, it even works on the bad guys? Maybe he was just looking for a tow-truck...

That tact copper has just been ITCHING to throw that garbage can at something for a long time now. Finally his patience paid off, and he did it without spilling his coffee! An honorable mention is already in the works, however the union for Streets & Sanitation is up in arms about the misappropriation of the can. J-Fed is all over this one.
