Gee, Anyone See a Problem?
Not that we'd ever suspect DCFS of fucking up a case so bad that a child or thirteen died as a direct result of their negligence:
- SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - Illinois' child-welfare agency, looking for savings amid a budget crunch, has stopped a 10-month-old employee drug testing program officials say kept five dozen substance users from jobs that could have put them in contact with the state's most vulnerable children.
A memo from Department of Children and Family Services director Erwin McEwen, obtained by The Associated Press, indicates drug testing of job seekers, including those of private contractors or vendors, ended Nov. 18.
Eliminate the screening process first as an "unnecessary" expense. This is going to work out spectacularly for them, we can just feel it.

With the way that dept operates, a hired crack-head couldn't do any worse.
i don't think they pay much and this will increase the applicant pool. school teachers aren't tested either and hail from high narcotics academia.

I wonder how many of the job seekers purported to have been turned away from jobs in child care were turned away for pot use?
I am not a big fan of pot use, but drunks are at least as bad, and often more dangerous.
Are they still paying individuals money to teach there clients to clean thier households.
How about doing the same for us? I'd like to see the days I've heard so much about... Like starting the tour to find the remains of a joint in the ashtray... BRING IT ON!

dcfs is pretty useless. Used to be a social worker right out of college. The shit dcfs turns a blind eye to is fucking ridiculous. The only time they take action is when police make the call. Saw it first hand with some tortured kids. I was fighting a losing battle for those kids as a socialworker. So, I became the police.
Yep. Thought I could help people by becoming the police. Young and stupid was I.
Joking aside. We help people all the time. My problem is i just dont give a shit about people anymore.
Dcfs does not do their jobs so who gives a shit if they are high? I haven't had a problem with them since I got on the job, but I'm telling u, I think they're afraid of us. I think they know they will be held accountable.

What's the fuck? Why not let them eat cake. Drugs in this country have contribute to our growing economy since their outlawed. Just think for now. Decriminalization might just force us into the GREATER Depression.
