Dean's request followed calls for the governor's resignation by President-elect Barack Obama and the U.S. Senate's 50 Democrats.
Rezko may still be talking and building up some credit with the feds.
Blago's Lieutenant Governor is calling for impeachment and the state house might have charges ready very shortly.

During today's Obama Press Conference, it was a one man show, Barack Obama.
Obama tried to convince the public that he had nothing to do with Gov. Rod Blagojevich attempting to sell off Obama's US Senate seat. But the original statements from Obama about nobody from his staff or him have ever talked to Gov. Blagojevich about Obama's vacant senate seat is now changing. Obama is now saying that he is asking his staff who spoke to Blago and if they did speak to Blago, what was said.
Reporters found Rahm "Rahmbo" Emanuel later in the day watching one of his children sing in the halls of City Halls with her school choir. Although Rahmbo's kid was singing loud, Rahmbo refused to answer any questions from the reporters.
News reports are now reporting that Rahm Emanuel as well as David Axelrod both were wheeling and dealing with Gov. Blagojevich about this vacant senate seat.
Now the early outing of this investigation by the feds is starting to make sense. How would it look for the "evil white federal government" to take down the first black president before he is even sworn in?

Apparently two officers on routine patrol were driving when one of the officers felt a sharp pain in his shoulder and realized a short time later that he had been shot.
Sources said the officer was driven by his partner to Mt. Sinai where the officer is being treated for an apparent gunshot to the arm.

i recently removed my info from the two sites, i'm not going to list them but if you're a cop you should know which ones i'm talking about from the c.o. book.
it was pretty easy. just fax over your info that appears on their site exactly and it will be removed. check under privacy policy on the sites for more info.

Short Answer: No.
Longer Answer: The sites the you are referring to, get their information from publicly available records. Unless you plan on shunning society and living in a cave like a hermit there is very little that anyone can do about. Yes, you can write each company on a case by case basis and request that your information be removed; however, I am unaware of any law that requires them to do so once a request is made (I may be wrong but as far as I know, this is the case).

When this first broke, he said that there needed to be a special election as any appointment would be tainted.

Now he saying he should be the Governor and he will make the appointment of whoever he is told it is to be.
The Dems don't want a special election because if that were to happen there is a VERY good possibility that there could be a public backlash against the Dumbocrats and a Republican would get elected.

You have to be something of an idealist deep down to maintain any sense of peace while doing this job. Rabbi Wolf and Father Nangle always say we are doing God's work. I'm not religious but they mean it is work that needs to be done, people out there need us and they don't care about corrupt asshole bosses or lack of a contract or clout. They need help and it is us who answer the call.
So go home at night and forget all the other bullshit that drives the average working copper mad, we are performing a service for people that needs to be done, accept that and give your family a hug.
Sure we get fucked sometimes, but really, we get fucked a lot less than others, expecially those poor fuckers who camped out at Republic Door and Window recently. They get severance pay and are still out of a job. And it's Christmas soon. what the hell are they going to do?

I couldn't believe it. Last night on CNN (Lou dobbs) a journalist actually admitted that they should have looked into Obamas background and political connections (Rezko etc) before the election. They said they were on a honeymoon and gave him a pass.
The linchpin for this outrage was the Saturday, Dec. 6 Blagojevich "fundraiser" with Jonathan Jackson (brother of JJ, Jr.) sitting at Table #1 with Blagojevich and the Asian Indian businessmen.
Then Blago met with Jr. the day before his arrest.
This is getting REAL interesting, to say the least.

To 9:40 a.m. I did the same thing. I mailed my info to the web sites that have our infor. requesting to have my name removed five months ago and it's still there. The reality is there's nothing we can do because it gets updated automatically. What are we going to do sue them? Good luck! If anyone of us are living even a slightly normal life our info will be out there. It sucks!

You just brought to mind a press conference held by former Illinois Attorney General Jim Ryan some years ago. Ryan was very ill with cancer and was going into chemotherapy; I forget whether he was announcing a leave of absence or a resignation, but whatever it was, it was a moment when he had nothing left to lose and didn't care about the press anymore.
In his "goodbye" to the media, he said, "...and especially Andy Shaw.
"Andy, I am so sick of the sound of your voice."
The camera turned to Shaw, who just froze.
