Thursday Night Football
- This game features two 7-6 teams that desperately need a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. Both the Bears and the Saints took care of business last week to remain in the hunt, but they will have to prepare quickly in order to get ready for this Thursday night game. Right now these two teams are on the outside looking in and time is running out.
Bears favored by 1 point. Weather says 20 degrees around game time and colder near the lake.

I'm really looking forward to watching pro football players playing on grass that high school players wouldn't play on. They need to replace the grass at Soldier Field with field turf. That is if it doesn't piss off the Shortshanks relative who has the sod contract with the park district.
semi OT: 6" of snow in New Orleans! We'd better start burning more fossil fuels to counter all this global cooling.

I have some insight on what is happening with the investigation on Jesse Jackson Jr. Evidently Dennis J. Gannon (currently serves as President of the Chicago Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO, a position he has held since May of 2002) is a known financial donor and very close personal friend of Jesse Jackson Jr. From what I have gathered Mr. Gannon might have tried to broker a deal with Mr. Blagovich that was intercepted on a confidential overhear. I am not 100% however my source has been reliable in the not to far past. Also when Mr. Jesse Jackson Jr. wants to financially back other aldermanic canidates you receive your backing from Mr. Dennis Gannon. This I do know first hand. Thank you SCC in your consistent vigilance in exposing the truth within the Chicago Police Department.
Again this information is solely based on a secondary source but I think it's RIGHT ON THE MONEY!

I have been laughing so hard this week I can't sit or stand still long enough to pee straight let alone type any comments until now.
This has truly been a magical week.
In light of recent depressionary economic news with our favorite American morons in the media, slowly but surely coverage over the new president-elect "shit for brain's" involvement with Chicago politics will grow into a black cloud tarnishing this dirty prick who's been hiding in a closet at the center of the universe otherwise known as Hyde Park.
We are now in for the best four years of our lives. As bad as it may seem. I love all you coppers and city workers who fight and work hard in the trenches. We are true believers who first hand witness and fall victim to the political corruption otherwise known as the "Chicago Way."
The out of control violence in this city is only a reflection of the reality we share. Out of the dust my friends the forces of evil will appear to be winning. Don't ever give up hope!
In the end there will be only one woman standing. So next time you take a pee. Please lift the seat so the queen can sit on a dry throne.
Re: X-MAS Ham....This usually works well.... Make Cuts in the outer skin of ham approx. 1/4" deep in a diamand shape (need to spin ham around to get the desired criss-cross pattern) depending on your taste..rub yellow mustard and brown sugar on outside, stick cloves in the slots . I have also used pineapples and pour the juice over the ham...Cook as per directions.....Save the crusty skin for some good "Cracklins"..Check out the Food Network Site for more ideas...Good Luck..Be Safe

Chicago Bears football practice was delayed nearly two hours this afternoon after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field. Head coach Lovie Smith immediately suspended practice while police and federal agents were called to investigate.
After a complete analysis, Chicago Police forensic experts determined that the white substance, unknown to the players, was the goal line. Practice was resumed after the forensic experts decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again.
Soldier Field is on the list for a tornado shelter.

I am so glad I am so gone from that mess. Sgt. B.K. "Can I get a location for a meet", when this guy has been out of the district giving "quotes" on carpentry jobs half the tour. How about how he eats for free on Diversey (See his car hidden) and then says to the beat car "You know if they give you a break you are in the wrong and I should write you for that".POS!
