I want it known to all that I am now taking myself out of the running for nomination to fill the unexpired US Senate term of President-elect Obama.
If nominated I will not serve. I will not sink so low as to associate with the likes of Illinois' politicians and members of the US Senate.
I will, instead, continue for a few more years in my current position of tenured beat car operator. One can only sink so far and I am unwilling to get down there in the muck with the rest of them.
