Stupid idea:
- 009th district second watch roll call today. Second watch Lt. R K states that if you do not come in with any activity, you have to submit a to/from stating why. Where the hell did he come up with this and is there enough paper available to write all the reasons why there is no activity. What a goofball this white shirt is.
Make sure you come in half an hour early to write the paper. Or stay half-an-hour late and drop the slip.

LOL, thats the best thing i've heard all day. this job gets dumber and more retarded by the hour! Its a sad day that almost every tac team in my district has AT LEAST two openings.

R/O was on proactive patrol. While doing such did not see any violations of ordinances known to R/O and is not willing to violate citizens Civil Right's to facilitate request's of second watch Lt. R/O will diligently stand to the oath taken when becoming a sworn patrolman, and will remain on proactive patrol whenever working. When/if R/O should see criminal activity, R/O will handle according to the laws R/O swore to uphold.

Answer your calls, thats SOMETHING.
no activity to check off with does not mean there was no activity "serving and protecting".
caps is pro active and contacting with the community, not just writing tickets or arresting bad guys.
In your to froms I think I'd borrow a few lines out of the caps manual to use as filler, quote them for your Lt. might write you up for plagiarism if he catches you.
aside from your time "capsicating"
recording potholes, searching for known offenders / witnesses, coding jobs without arrests, not "seeing" any traffic violatiors,or the only parking violations the po spotted were those that mandated the unusual parking due to dangerous ice and unplowed snow banks, poractive protection of dangerous intersections where ice had accumulated, or burst water main hazzards, walking and talking to check on elderly, all miscellaneous things that take time and professionalism in between taking assignments...
add lunch, the quick toilet personal, gas stop, waiting at MM for a new wiper blade or a heater checkout...get the picture?
this guy would be fun...I hope you are taping his roll calls and threats. He sounds like he's a liar aside from being stupid.

Squad, hold me down on a station assignment for the desk...
Event Number please for...
A premise check (while running personal errands);
Foot patrol (while visiting aquaintances on the beat);
Reports in the District (when dropping by the desk);
Notifications (when calling home);
Going in for supplies (after errands to put your stuff in your personal vehicle);
Combined with all the radio assignments handled on a daily basis and thats plenty of SOMETHING without writing a parker or mover!!!
Just make every job a paper job, that's activity, and who can tell you how long it should take you to write a concise accurate report with correct spelling and grammar?
Make sure your to-from somes it all up in a couple sentences. No manpower, few or little cars manned. no backup. backlogs. If you weren't handling a job or doing paper, you were backing up other officers on their jobs. thats your activity. he cant and if he's smart, wont take it any further.
Write a few parkers in front of the Rev's play churches and the pressure will go away.
helen dewitt did the same thing when she was the cmdr of 013 a few years back. just plain stupid.

Gee, I was at the same roll call. He said to make sure you put your numbers on the check off sheet so, I think the exact words were "so people who look at these check off sheets don't think you are doing nothing." Sounds more like he was telling you to cover your ass so a certain commander doesn't stick in yours like he is known to. But again you probably wouldn't know a helping hand if it slapped you in the face. If that's what you heard, then go write your report. I can't wait to see who is the biggest dumbshit on our watch.

I call bullshit. I was at that roll call too. I agree with he last poster. All he said is to put your numbers on the checkoff sheets. Aparently someone is talking about doing nothing, but when they have to show that they arent, they don't have the balls to put it down on paper. We have a couple of major fucking crybabys that would bitch if they got a bl--job and a million dollars at the same time. Grow some balls and checkoff with all zeros like I do. RK has never told me that I have to do something. ANd zero is my favorite number!!

r/o did not see any moving or parking violations, therefore r/o did not write any. r/o was not assigned a call where an individual signed complaints to effect an arrest.
Im sure there are some abandoned vehicles somewhere to write a few parkers on. Copy the VIN and you have at least one parker every day till someone tows it. If its viewable from the street but on private property there's always the 'hazardous or dilapidated vehicle in public view' parker and you CANT tow it when its on private property.... such a shame, gonna have to write it another ticket.
City probably wont see any of that parking ticket money either, eh?

R/O is submitting this To/From under duress and under direct order from Lt. Klooless Leader.
R/O denies that he did not do any activity during his tour. R/O answered his radio assignments in a timely manner. R/O even saved the city money by NOT putting in an overtime slip for missing lunch during his busy tour. (Check my sergeant's log: he may have filed a false report if he/she indicated that R/O took a lunch.) R/O toured his patrol area and whererever he went, criminals dispersed. R/O did not witness any crime occuring in R/O's presence. R/O's presence contributed to a decrease in crime wherever he went on his beat. Unfortunately, due to manpower shortages on the watch, R/O and his fellow officers cannot be everywhere to prevent crime. R/O therefore cannot be held responsible for crime that occurs outside of R/O's presence.
R/O has also followed orders in keeping crime statistics down. Remember that burglary report that R/O's sergeant changed to a "theft from building." And how about the victim who was found bludgeoned to death. R/O wanted to make it a homicide but R/O's wise supervisors ordered R/O to classify it as a "death investigation." These and other similar scenarios are helping to keep the real crime stats down so we can continue to deceive the public and the olympic committees on what is really going on here.
Finally, R/O would like to thank the wisdom of his great supervisors in helping R/O to keep his CR numbers down. But can you explain to R/O why CR numbers are processed faster than honorable mentions and other awards?

There's nothing that states you have to come in with ANY activity. Patrol is there to answer jobs. If you don't come across anything during your tour of duty between answering those little things called "assignments" then they can't bust balls. Fuck 'em.

Well well this sounds like the Lt that when he is 990 does not leave the station all day, but will tell the guys and girls on the street to come in with activity, first you needed to know how to be a boss.
