A server crash on blogger froze us up last night. We couldn't moderate comments, post updates, or schedule new material. And there was was also no way to let everyone know either. But we're back, we're recovering articles and we'll be posting last night's stuff shortly. Thanks for your patience.Last night's posts should appear below this one in a little while.

memo just came out today---anyone who wants time off for this weekend or next weekend must submit a To-From explaining why and the District Commander only can allow the time off---THIS JUST CAME OUT TODAY!!! WTF!! Officers already have submitted slips, which were approved by the W/C for these days. WHO IS RUNNING THIS ORGANIZATION???
IT'S SUCH A JOKE!! On New Years Eve--this same memo comes out, but it comes out a period in advance!! This is Crazy!

Actually a teletype came out last week saying the Area Deputy Chief has to approve the days off, not the commander.

Do yo know Merit Lt. Paulie Bauer? He would be pissed at anyone with a backbone because he never had one. Mother fucker has some push though, he was a p/o, merit sgt & merit lt in the horse unit. He fancies himself to be suave and debonair, but he is just a jerk.

Know the facts before posting....He is/was not merit Lt. The other shit I don't know about.Maybe the Sgt.(merit?) deserved it. From what I understand, he has always run a pretty good show.

Listen jagbag, Paulie is a merit fuck all the way. And getting a hat trick assignment in the horse unit is not luck. He is heavy. His connection(s) got him every rank and every assignment. Even each of his "temporary" assignments after being promoted and prior to returning to the horsies have been nice places. This em eff'er has had a charmed career and it is not because he is smart. Have you ever seen any of his paper? He is dumb as they come. The chicks love him because of his looks, and that is okay, but even they know that the lights are on, but nobody is home! Paulie is a dumb em eff'er, but he has steam behind him, big steam, but it smells bad.
