No (1751 responses)

LOL

I wouldn't trust Daley with enough taxpayer money to buy a cup of coffee...

because a dummy company would be set up by his cousin, fronted by a minority, to sell one cup of coffee to the mayor at 3.5 million dollars, then he would deny ever knowing anything, the business would close under mysterious circumstances, records would be lost, no criminal charges would be filed, and no civil action taken to recover the money.

A bullshit poll on WGN radio means nothing. What would it take to turn this into a binding referendum that the entire populace could VOTE ON? Allow every one of the taxpaying citizens to actually vote whether they trust Daley to have his Olympics or not.

What is the process? Does one of the chickenshit 50 alderthieves have to introduce this or can it begin as a grass-roots petition-signing campaign to get it on the next ballot?

WGN is a good start but let's show him AT THE BALLOT BOX what we think of him and his olympics.

Despite the lack of trust shown by this poll,I still have a terrible, sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach that the IOC is going to fall for shortshanks song and dance and give this fool the 2016 Olympics.By 2020 this city will have the financial solvency of Detroit.Cleveland if we're lucky.

It's too bad 72% of the voters stayed home or otherwise sat on their hands on the last real mayoral election day. Daley was elected by 80% of the 28% who did get out and vote.

Remember those civics lessons in school when the teacher tried to tell the students how important it is to vote?

It is.

Remember all those history lessons that taught us about past wars fought by Americans who bled and died defending our right to vote?

Now we are all paying the price for taking that right for granted and allowing a minority lead by a bunch of inbred Bridgeport voters to elect our mayor for us for the past 20 years.

This won't change until the voters get off their ass and find a good candidate and vote for same.

You won't find such a person currently enrolled in either the Republican or Democratic party either.

Poll?!! I saw that too and I thought for a moment and didn't even bother because Daley don't give two fucks and a shake what you and I and everyone else cares about!! His thing is "Its all about the city". Beware, WE will have those games here!! Be prepared! They will be here! "cause Daley wants what he wants and he will get it!! If anyone would care to read some history, look at what he has done so far with out ANYONE confronting him on it! Well, have they? Oh, maybe a few things, but his reply is "my answer speaks for itself". And then he runs away! Too bad we can't put this whole thing to a vote, because the real truth would come out and Daley would start to whine, like all Democrats. Not enough money, not enough programs, not enough of any control. Lets raise taxes and fees and the state income tax too. Yeah, thats where we'll get our money and then we can claim to the olympic board that we have everyhting we and they need to pull this off. Ahh, Chicago corruption going forward.......
