Bad News on Health Care

Remember that raise? Guess where it's going?
  • Individual insurance premiums would increase by an average of 10 percent or more, according to an analysis of the Senate healthcare bill.

The long-awaited report by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) and the Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) also concluded that subsidies provided by the legislation would make coverage cheaper for those who qualify.
That's from the Congressional Budget Office, the number crunchers who work for Congress. Even they know Obama-care is going to bankrupt the country.

But Obama isn't going to raise taxes on anyone making under $250,000 a year. He'll just raise everything else.

the sooner obama realizes that you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, the better off we will be--- the problem is that he may not realize it until he is voted out of office in three years... by then the damage will be done and will take decades to fix...

Maybe the suburban fuck-faces in Virginia, Wisconsin, North Carolina, etc... who voted for this asshole will figure it out now.

It's a simple, fucking, wealth transfer. Period.

It will tax your insurance to pay for the all the usual suspects, including illegal aliens, who vote 90% plus Democratic all the time.

You have to call, write, and e-mail Senators like Evan Bayh-IN, Blanche Lincoln-AR,Joe Lieberman-CT, Ben Nelson-NE to stop this. They're all up for re-election soon and are vulnerable, except Lieberman who doesn't like the bill on principle.

Don't waste your time contacting that plow beast from LA, Mary Landrieu, she already took her bribe before the cloture vote and doesn't come up for reelection til 2014.

JUSTICE IS SERVED!

The murderer of 4 PO's in Washington State has been shot and killed by police. Great job by our brothers and sisters there! No court, no liberal apologists lamenting in court about how unfortunate the assassins' life has been and how no one cared about him as a child and gee, the poor man was misunderstood, etc. etc.

F*ck him and his friends and family who have reportedly aided and abetted his flight from law enforcement since his assassination of the officers. He will now be judged in the afterlife where no bleeding hearts can champion his cause as they did for Mumia Abu-Jamal (who was convicted and sentenced to death for the December 9, 1981 murder of Philadelphia police officer Daniel Faulkner), or Rubin "Hurricane" Carter who was convicted twice for the murder of three people.

This one ended the way it should have. Now let everyone grieve for the REAL victims here, the heroes in uniform and their families. God bless them and all who do this thankless job!

Insurance companies are aware of all this and are acting accordingly. Health insurance for people on the contract I'm on OCONUS went from $40 a month to $110 a month, and if you don't select a new option before the cutoff date, you go automatically into a catastrophic plan that is only $25 but has a $10K deductible. By sheer coincidence, the website you are supposed to use to update your choice is not working or gives error messages all the time. They know what's up.......

Just make sure to talk to your family what politicians are not making decisions for your best interests. I am sure not one in my family will vote for this Nobama puppet.

I have written and e-mailed Burris and Durbin, but those two are useless. They are a shame on our state. I know we don't have to worry about Burris, but I hope to God people get together and vote out Durbin. I have also contacted my state rep. but he voted for the health care bill.

Between the Health Care and Cap & Trade we are going to be taxed like crazy.

What is wrong with our government? China, Poland, Russia and other countries are doing a lot better because they are following capitalism and are beginning to flourish. But our politicians seem to prefer socialism. God Help Us!

We have to vote these creeps out. There has to be a way to get Pelosi out of office. I have seen articles that say she has had more of her bills passed than the President has. They are comparing her influence to that of the President.

So if it's going to cost all this money, and We the People are all aware of it, why is it still going to get passed?

Pretty soon that line we all won't talk about is going to be crossed. After that we'll have to start considering forcible regime change. We're on our way to being slaves, and everyone's oblivious.

Those are two separate findings, but it seems likely that Republicans will use the former finding to attack reform, claiming it will raise people's premiums, and leave people confused about the second finding, which is actually the one that impacts people's pocket books."

Lately we have been finding small ziplock baggies in our alleys and sidewalks. This is a very new thing on our blocks. Just a couple every couple of days. Noticed while raking leaves and prepping the house for winter. Our families are in our yards alot so this is a very new thing. Likely I know these are crack baggies but is there a cheap MacGuyver way to prove they are crack baggies?

this country is broke and the additional revenue from universal health care and cap and trade taxes will help ensure those responsible don't pay.

Ah, the truth comes out. It's people who've been responsible and kept themselves insured, either through employment or private insurance, who are paying the price of ObamaCare.

Yup, "play by the rules" as the politicians say, and you get screwed in favor of those who haven't bothered to play by the rules.

Hey guys, my health insurance premium (Blue Cross Blue Shield HMO) at my job with a small biz here in the city DOUBLED last year, and will likely do the same this year since we have a couple of employees with some big claims. The boss has made it clear she cannot absorb these costs w/o letting people go so we have to suck it up. It amounted to about a 3 percent pay cut for me last year.

The Democrats are known to give to anyone and everyone that that hasn't paid into the system and these people know this and they know how to work the system. So when this bill passes.......grab your ankles and hold on tight!! This time your gonna feel it....but good!! This timer its gonna really hurt!!

Hold your horses Milo. The next mope will be even worse. What we don't need is another tee party (ask Tiger). If you're saying it's time to throw all that Chi-knees made Wal-Mart crap we've been buying for the last thirty years into the ocean and start changing the way we ALL live, I agree.

Our standard of living in the good old U.S. of A. has been propped up by too many bullshit get rich schemes of our own making. 30+ percent of our country's manufacturing base has disappeared in the last 30 years yet Wall Street keeps humming along. No one was asking how that could be as long as the 401k returns were good and housing profits were exploding. As long as the cheap foreign shit kept flowing across our borders, who really cared if a thousand people in Newton, IA got shitcanned. "Our" jobs and pay will always be secure. Right?

The politicians feed us what we want to eat, and sweet-tasting bullshit has been the only thing on the menu since Kennedy got half his head blown off. America's ability to spend our grandkids futures away and our own inability to admit we all have to live within our means fuels the fire.

Ask yourself -- do you want security or prosperity for America? Do you want America to save the world from itself or have $$$ for you and yours? America can't have both. The day is quickly approaching when America won't be able to have either.

The enemy is already past the gate and living amongst us. He's not Al-Qaeda. He isn't living in Roseland or Lawndale either.

Look in the mirror.
