Can Anyone Verify?

From the comments:
  • They City needs the money to pay for the $10,000 damage that Simeon Football team and coaches did to the locker room at Soldier Field after the Prep Bowl. We need to pay their parents to escort them to and from the locker rooms. What a joke.
Maybe someone needs to change on the buses from now on?

The charges should be sent to CPS. I hear they have lost a number of their honor students this year. Maybe they will have money left in the fund for gifted students.

Okay back to my point for the last few years now. Get rid of the public school system sports programs. Period.
They obviously are not learning good sportsmanship, or the respect of others persons, property or belongings. They riot when celebrating, and don't give a rat's ass about the honor it would be to play ball in Soldier Field.
Let the team pay for the damages and their parent(s).
Go out there and sell m'ms or something.

CPS Gladiator matches have begun!

Now they just have to train these budding killing machines to attack eachother in the arena, not the lockers.

They must be practicing hard though. I saw one carrying a net and trident around Simeon last week.......let the games begin!

When are they going to quit coddling theses kids? Why should the taxpayers have to pay for their lack of self-control? Do you see things like this happen after games with Marist, Mt. Carmel, Brother Rice, or St. Laurence? Why is that?

This is ridiculous! Now the Gov is going to do a study about the disparity between the black students and the white students suspension and expulsion from school. They are finding that even when the minority students are really in the minority, they find that the percentage of black and hispanic students are suspended and expelled from school more than the white students? HOW CAN THAT BE? RIDDLE ME THAT!

Why are there more black kids killing black kids than white kids killing anyone? Would their homelife have anything to do with that? Would always looking for excuses for their bad behavior have anything to do with that? When are people going to wake up? They (the revs, politicians, and liberal do gooders) are enabling these kids. It's only going to get worse until people wake up and start making these kids responsible for their actions.

When Brother Rice played a public school (not to be named) a few years back, the City paid the way for all these public school kids to attend (including suit jackets and ties to wear!). While the Catholic kids got nothing.

And let's not even go into what the rally was like. Un-fucking-believable behavior and trash talking from students right up to their coaches. Had to hand it to Brother Rice boys and Coaches (who just shook their heads) at the hot mess the public school kids put on.

Story ended well though, we kicked their asses.

We played in the Prep Bowl in 93 for Br. Rice High School on the SWestside. If the Irish Cristian Brotheers found $10,000 in damage to Soldier Field Locker Room, we'd be fuckin dead. Forget the fallout from our parents who would have contributed to the much deserved ass kickin.....we'd be dead. It was a previledge to play on a pro field and we knew it.

Perhaps the school could host a bake sale/car wash to cover the cost of repair.

Typical sore loser punk ass mutts. I believe it, based on what I saw on the very last play of the game. Just a simple kneel down by St. Rita to end the game but these Simeon assholes start pushing, shoving, and jawing (what they do best). It's getting very difficult to watch college and NFL games because that's all you see---not to mention the dancing and celebrating---just for making a routine tackle! Turns my stomach.

Don't know about that but the coaches had to be restrained by security after the game. They attempted to attack the officials.

This is being reported on EDGYTIM. Com which is this the SCC of high school football. After the game the locker room was trashed. This is, of course, after the Simeon coaches were given an unsportmanlike conduct penalty, deservedly so, during a crucial part of the game. The CPS honor students also refused to shake St.Rita players hands after the game.

Attempt to penalize absent Chicago police disciplinary board members stalls

Reform in Chicago Police Board's Future

This week the Chicago Police Board may experience a bit of reform, NBC Chicago reports. The city council will vote on an ordinance "that would force the board to explain its decisions in writing", specifically in cases where there is an unwillingness to fire bad cops. A second ordinance to be voted on would potentially cut police board payroll, as well as institute a limit on how many meetings board members can miss.

The vote comes at a time where credibility for Chicago Police Board is considerably low. Many of the board's decisions have been perplexing and viewed as political. A study by the Chicago Justice Project "found the board followed the police chief's suggested disciplinary actions just 37 percent of the time over the last 10 years." Some officers believe that terminations are too often not based on factual information provided to the board and, other times, takes too little action against officers such as William Cozzi, whose brutal actions were caught on video.

The same study by CJP found that "nine board members missed more than 20 percent of the meetings over the last 10 years," a position that pays $15,000 a year. A vote in favor of the proposed ordinances would encourage legitimate and evidenced decision-making, all while maintaining consistency in board member participation.

The rumor is around $20,000. This is the same team that the game between them and West Chicago ended in a brawl and didn't go past the 2nd quater. The coaches should have to pay or lock their asses up for fgelony criminal damage to property. A REAL class act. No wonder those honor roll students are so civalized.

I wasn't at the game, but learned firsthand from someone the next day that the end of the game was near chaos. Simeon got in a few cheapshots, then caused a near riot after the game on the sideline (helmets thrown, benches broken, etc.) so I'm not surprised that it would have extended to the locker room.

On last play of the game classy St.Rita coaching staff allows senior O.L. to get appearance in game for one play. Kid is greated with "we gonna kill your white ass" by two Simeon players. He consequently gets "jaced" in the face by one of the thugs. Near riot ensued.
I guess he'll have something to tell his grandkids.

And we heard NOTHING of this on the local news stations!! Heard NOTHING about the Gurnee Mills riot either!!

I think its all about nobody is accountable!! Not the parents, not the kids, not the "heroes". Yes, these kids all should held accountable, no doubt, however, who's gonna point the finger? They'll just deny it all and say, "Prove it!" So, lets just leave the locker room the way they left it and NOBODY plays in Soldiers Field, except the real pros.

Funny stuff! Hahahahahahahahahaha!

Wait, I just realized something! I hope your comments are an attempt at sarcasm and humor? If so, you are quite entertaining!

However, if not, it is apparent that you have no idea how a certain segment of our society lives and non-raises their spawn. If you are truly unaware, your naivete is staggering!

In the real world, if an investigation reveals they commited the alleged conduct, the Simeon High School coaches and players should be arrested, charged and prosecuted for assault, on the game officials, and damage to city property, for the damage in the Soldier Field locker room.

Taking it soft on criminal youths, does not help their future behavior, especially when they have nothing but coach role models showing them, the players, nothing but a criminal way to conduct themselves.

Also, at the very least, there should be a CPS investigation into the alleged actions and behavior on the part of the Simeon coaches and players, with severe penalties being administered, including the firing of the coaches and the dismantling of the football team, if the allegations are proven to be true.

Of course, the Simeon coach was screaming at his assistants to stfu, and is likely to fire them.

Yet you guys want to throw everyone out, pretend like "what can you do?" This is the problem with Chicago - the good guys on the south side get no support from the class of people that control the city - mostly SW and NW side guys like those posting here. Some douchebag above squints his beady little eyes and proclaim a "blanket CR number on the entire Simeon football team!!"

In case you don't get it, the whole job is sorting out who is responsible, and when you throw everyone in, you prove that it's not worth it for a good kid at Simeon to bother - he's just going to get stabbed in the back by some asshole like Anonymous 12:55.

People posting such crap should be ashamed of themselves. Unfortunately, people posting such crap make up the bulk of employees of most of the government offices and constructions trades in this town.

The States Attorneys Ofiice under the direction of Alvarez will not touch this case if there was a case to be made. She hates the Police and is not a fan of law and order its easily observed by the rejection of charges that would have been a slam dunk even under Devines regime.

Its a simple cycle really. Simeon students will enter adulthood the same why their thug-life parents did and be locked up by some private school alumini who is now the police. Then these jags will enter their golden years drinking night train by a garbage can fire complaining how the "man" held them down, and kept them from their dreams as a pro athlete or rap artist.

P.S. Congrats St. Rita!
