UPDATE: Whoops...misread the calendar. Checks Monday, W-2's today. Had to make a special trip into the station to get it, but it was there. Taxes will be filed and mailed tonight, refund should be winging it's way to us next week, and the money is already spent.

By Federal law they are to be given out before Feb 1, 2010.

Hundreds of kids fighting at Michele Clark H.S. today in 15. Juniors versus Seniors. Our tax money is being wasted, there totally out of control and Obama wants to give more tax breaks involving education.

the mighty blackhawks win 2 points at the tank by defeating the sharks in ot on a goal by brouwer who is on fire as of late--- huet played a great game as he was peppered with shots from all over and made the saves when needed--- the hawks are 3-1 this year against the sharks, their probable opponents for the western conference championship.... can the hawks beat the capitals, buffalo, or the penguins in the stanley cup finals---- this is our year baby, it looks like driving around shirtless in a limo with some hotties with a cold brew is good medicine for a long road trip....

Is it true that Shakman is going to be looking into people who have been promoted meritoriously more than twice? Including who their sponsor was as well as their "merit" application package they submitted to see what their qualifications were? I have heard this from 2 different sources and wanted to see if anyone can verify this.
Will the new IRS "Schedule L" figure prominently in our tax returns?

Heard they were coming by mail by a sergeant of my unit. I guess they know nothing.
Checks don't come until Monday, tax forms must be distributed by 31 Jan. This is ripe for a typical City fuck up.
Checks arrive Monday...W2 will be mailed to your home address...that's why they made you check your address and sign next to it recently. If you didn't check your address or make corrections, good luck getting a W2 before March.

Got mine today (Fri)and my check was directly deposited shortly after midnight (Sat). Hmmm, guess SCC was right again. Haters. The taxes have already been done and e-filed. Hoping to have the money deposited in my account before Super Bowl weekend.
If you have direct deposit, you should get your $$$ by Friday, the 29th. I know because mine was deposited in my account last night.
But, if you don't have direct deposit by now and you still cash your check at Currency Exchage, you're an idiot..

County was handing out W2's on last Monday in person.
I've taken away over a hundred medallions, stickers and hat bands. Always told the offender to have their "girlfriend, boyfriend, uncle, play daddy, baby momma" etc. ad nauseum to call me at work and I'd apologize and send a new one if I made a mistake. Never got a phone call yet. Of course these are different times, so I'm a little more careful. "The person behind the wheel always dictates the outcome."

Add to the list those that are not the police or even police immediate family members driving around with medallions on their cars.
Saw one today that had the Lodge 7medallion but no city sticker!
SUGGESTION: make a copy as soon as you pick it up and keep it in your locker or safe file. If it is a month or so before you file these things can get lost and they are a hassle to replace around April 15th.
