I Do Not Like That Sam I Am

Especially when he's running over on-duty police officers in the 016 District at the scene of an accident:
  • PO in 016 on third watch hit kamikazee style by a LT.SC last night. Instead of concern for po he wants CR.

  • I was there, nice coverup, what a jag in station mfing everyone! Can you imagine if it was blueshirt?

  • you can do like SC did last night, you can strike an on duty police officer with your car while on the phone, disobeying a police order, .... And walk out of 016 screaming how your going to get a CR on the woman you sent to the hospital. What a whiteshirtwash that was. All the PO's in 016 got a good lesson last night on where we stand with our own management.

  • "Got to see the retired deputy chief in the back seat of the squad car in 016 after he hit a police officer while she was directing traffic. Good thing he is retired now, he will have the same rights as everyone but the police! Captain Chrissy handling it; will she, the reformed one, have sympathy?"
How about an apology instead of acting like a total dickhead? And how about the Captain does a little explaining, too? Don't we have a whole bunch of coppers with their asses in the wringer over exactly this type of behavior? Yet a how-many-time merit promotee leads people down the same path while an Officer is sent to the emergency room?

No one has answered the magic question here: Was Sam drunk? Did anyone do any testing onscene to determine if alcohol played a role in this? Did Sam receive any ticket(s) for striking a pedestrian in the roadway (that's usually the case in TAs where someone claims injury)?

If that would've been you or me, we'd be pooling together any and all types of disposable income, assets and family favors owed to put towards the attorney's retainer.

Just another fine example of the two-tiered system of discipline on the CPD and a not-so-subtle reminder that "Clout Rules" in this cesspool of a city.

Now get out there and make some arrests and generate some revenue for this department, suckers! And don't you worry your pretty lil head about consequences to your actions... your "bosses" really meant it when they told you that they "have your back".

Also, call the media for good measure too. Also, the P.O. that was hurt should go on IOD and ask for an IOD report. Last but not least, only answer your PDT.

But I don't think anyone will do anything; except bitch on a blog how unfair things are. Will you P.O.'s do anything? It's sad, but in our department, Officers only look out for themselves AND THAT IS WHY WE ARE DOOMED.

interesting how the Feds are going to spend millions suing Az over illegal immigration, sounds like a shortshanks move. Speaking of 42 short a sherriff in Az whose town is on the border of Mexico is being threatened by the Mexican gangs over his enforcing the immigration law. This is a credible threat unlike the whacko that threatened Daley but guess what, the sherriff is refusing a body guard detail, he just says it's part of the job and he won't be intimidated. For the people wondering about the blow and possible DUI - when you see words like "coverup", and "whiteshirtwash" that should tell you everything. What your thinking should have been looked at really only applies if you are a cloutless blueshirt - and if it was the other way around you would have been skinned alive!! There truly are 2 different rule books here. But the real show stopper is that SC came in the next day and made a beef on the PO. If you take insult to being called a "motherfucker" Sam, then try not to be one for once in your life.

First of all, the watch commander can't order a retiree to do anything, he is no longer a dept. member, if they had determined he was dui then as a regular citzen he would have the right to refuse all testing and be charged accordingly; the officer had better have gone to the hospital, an accident report, as well as an IOD better have been completed and the officer should retain an attorney.

By the way, PT hasn't dui'ed any odpos, now their family members, that's another story....

If he ran her over or hit her she should have some real injury, I know she doesnt. Lets get both sides of the story. I got my info from PO's that saw what went on. Also PT has helped many drunk PO's out of many DUI TCs, but he only gets credit for 501s to loud mouth drunken friends and kids of cops, usually after they hit someone who was not drunk.

You’re a LYING DOG, she was a 99 unit and there was no one else on scene at the time! Maybe if there was another copper there, they could have helped her turn the truck around, your Idiot! Stop trying to destroy a copper's name, I know her and she a good cop. As for abusing I.O.D., it never happened, I’ve never seen a copper come to work in more pain and deal with it. Guess, the ET’s photographs will tell the real story! Also, she’s never written another copper! Lies, Lies Lies...... Maybe YOU should stop trying to screw over a good copper!

Know what's funny here? If Sam was well liked, and Kohlman gave him a break, it would be, Well, the officer was just scraped - Kohlman did the right thing. I never worked for Sam Christian, but I remember back in the day he and his partner were superb guys, investigating kiddie cases. Don't know what changed. But, you guys, don't be hypocrates - either back a retiree or not.

truck was stuck under a viaduct. SC was attempting to turn his vehicle around, per the female PO's orders. SC was not turning fast enough because the traffic in the other lane did not break. The PO told him to move his fucking car. He attempted to tell her the traffic was coming. She related again to move his car and dropped several f bombs toward him. He then requested her to call a supervisor and he pulled into a parking lot. She ran upto him screaming you hit me. I would like anyone who knows the PO involved to doubt this version. Also he was not drunk nor did he appear drunk or smell of drink. What ever you may feel about the guy let the truth be told. How is the po im sure she is ok. I'm sure she will be I.O.D. again for at least the 100th time in her useless career. Talk about screwing coppers, ask around about how many times she wrote coppers. She had a visible injury you shithead, and the rest of the story is off too. You were not there but give a play-by-play, STFU. Sounds like Sam finally showed up to make a comment. I hope she sues your ass. You know all about her f-bombs huh? Well I heard yours in the station cocksucker. And everyone wondering: The commander came in to 016 as well. It was a coverup from the top boys and girls. The way they buried this PO and what happened, and this ignorant prick still runs his mouth and gets a cr. Doom on you Sam

Rumor has it that a new "eltite" unit is being proposed by policy group. It will be called "District Response Teams"
Officers selected for this new "elite" unit will report to their district of assignment and get a radio and vehicle. Then they will report for roll call at homan square and be assigned to beat in their district to handle 911 calls and traffic duties.

7/07/2010 02:26:00 AM

who makes this crap up? why would you travel all the way to HSq only to go back to your own district to handle calls.

"There are two sides to every story. When you find out who the Officer is and what she did, you may think differently. I wonder if there are any cameras around to see if she was actually hit. Some say she was never hit and was pissed because after she m-f'd him, he m-f'd her right back, driove around her and she stated he struck her and called an ambulance. Anyone who knows this Officer, also knows her antics."

It's called unbiased citizen witness statements DumbF*ck. which i heard the officer made copies of. Now what boss?

He was one of the best bosses I saw in my time on the job. He didn't have much patience for the dogs though, which was fine by me. He was fond of sticking his finger in the administration's eye when he thought it was the right thing to do.

It looks like he made a few enemies along the way. That happens when you do your job. I'm pretty sure he made more friends, and I know he was well respected in his day. He helped more coppers than you'll know and he made child sex crimes a priority before it was mainstream

There is far too much bashing on this blog. Too many people shooting their mouths off about things they don't really know about. He was drunk. He had a dead hooker in the trunk (again?). It makes us look bad. Grow up, please.

Saw Sam a few days ago on Milwaukee Ave. Had a short talk and he was fine Cant believe all this animosity about the incident. No way am I going to believe he intentionally struck her with his car, no way and all over having to make a turn Worked with Sam when he was a po, YO and a Sgt. Can tell you one thing , he was a good hard working po and yo Some criticizm came because he was a hard working po and expected it from all the people he worked with who didnt all have the same work ethic We are a small group and I would hope the CPD would take care of all, the retirees, the po, the bosses and even the hair gels Years ago this would have been taken care of in the station and mediated so that everyone concerned would be ok with the investigation Dont know how much of an injury could be cause when your stopped in traffic and then slowly trying to turn around Brothers and sisters dont know why we continually do this to each other instead of helping each other

I agree that there should be a CR number. No, not on the retired Area 5 Deputy, but on the supervisors in the 16th. District whose concern was how they could cover up what had occurred. From what I heard, they had no concern for the injured officer.

Back a retiree? One that was reportedly under the influence who hit a PO and put that PO in the hospital and then used his influence and former position to skate on traffic and DUI charges?

That retiree? We are supposed to back that retiree? Is that the retiree that you back?

I back the active PO who is in the hospital. I want to hear her story. That is where my support goes.

Get your priorities in order.

How about taking care of the Copper and helping her???? Instead of hitting her with a car and then getting a CR# on her! Maybe that’s where animosity is coming from......... He should have taken his “one” ticket and gone on his merry way like a real man! Also theirs NO WAY a guy who’s drunk would ever hit someone in the middle of the street, never would happen! You’re a piece of work buddie! It’s not whether he was a great boss or guy, it’s that he did something really stupid and then got a CR# on a P.O. to cover his ass!!!! So who screwed who? Did he ever show any remorse or concern for the P.O. or ask how she was? No he just had a tirade in the station about getting “one” measly ticket! ---“Don’t know how much of an injury could of be caused when your stopped in traffic and then slowly trying to turn around”—-- Wow you must have been there with that play by play, you could be a witness for Sam!!! Your and idiot buddie, love the fabrication, we’ll put you in front of Sam’s car next time and see what happens! If you’re his buddie tell him to man up and take responsibility for his actions instead of trying to screw a good copper!!! I have NO respect for you buddie!!!!

i hope capt krissy doesn't get jammed up helping one of our own because of these f n cry baby hair gells

the new breed of police officer wouldn't stick their neck out to help anyone

capt krissy is old school

+++++

Hey stupid, it takes 12 years (give or take) to even stay on 3rd watch in 016 on a bid. A lot of gray hair in 016. So, before you go calling people "New Breed" and "Hairgels", and "cry babies" think before you open your mouth. And, old school would have been for Sam to act like a man, and try to do the right thing. P.O's stick thier neck out every day. In this case the zipper came down, and something else stuck out. Roll up your tongue, your talking shit.

Amen to the person who posted this. P.T. has never jammed up an ODPO. I have seen him "take care" of many situations when it could be taken care of. He is a gentleman and will do anything in his power to help. As long as it can be taken care of without jeapordizing himself or those involved.

You’re an IDIOT, a gentleman wouldn’t try to get a CR# on a P.O. after he hit that P.O. with his car! “Never jammed up a ODPO,” have you not been paying attention or what? Guess this time he did everything in his power to jam up a P.O. to cover his A$$..... Wake up.......
And all you guys who are sticking up for Sam, make me SICK! He tried to screw over a good copper and that’s wrong!!! I would of had respect for him if he would of taken his medicine like a real man!

Capt C.K. only cares about a promotion not the officers in 016. She's so afraid that she'll get dumped again. SHe drives her desk officers nuts!

Clueless, was the same in 018. Was going to retire till Cline stepped in and made her Commander. Why I wonder?

So, ah.. those last three posts...If you are going to pretend you are different posters, you should post more than two or three minutes apart.

I am going to guess you have an ax to grind with the man. I will also bet that you aren't much of a Police Officer if you do.
