More Proof Daley is Running
Mayor Daley has ruled out a pre-election property tax hike — but other tax increases, layoffs and a raid on previously sacred economic development funds are “on the table” — to erase a record $654.7 million budget shortfall that could rise considerably.
"There's nothing off the table, other than the property tax increase," Budget Director Gene Munin said Friday, insisting that spending cuts would come first.
So expect more debt, more service cuts, less hiring, outdated and unrepairable equipment and a continuation of crooked and fixed contracts flowing out of City Hall.

Oh it's coming. We will have to pay for garbage pickup and even for water service fees will be jacked up.
And it's all of our fault. No matter what happens, we keep electing the same fools. We need to throw out the two party system and start electing genuine public servants who have the interests of the city and country at heart.
I thought our taxes already included garbage pick-up?

Another one of the mayor's tool, alderpersons, was on the news talking about how WE may have to start charging for garbage collection like the suburbs do! They must have all got their instructions from the little pimp.
Get someone else to do the dirty work than go along with his slaves like he was really against it but they have the voice of the people... If the alderheads ever had an original thought, it would die from loneliness!!! We should eliminate the number of alderman like the suburbs.
He might run but if we all vote he will lose wake up its time to realize enough is enough ~~~~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aldergoof tunney stated the cost of only $1,000 for a license was to cheap given the big profits that will be made, how much has been given via the "manilla envelope" into back pockets of shortshamks and the 50 followers?

It was evident that he planned on running for another term when he unveiled his plans for the southeast side (98 mil) redevelopment. He had to appease the Jackson Family in order to stop alderperson Sandi Jackson from running against him. Before the blago trial and Rep Jackson
turmoil coming to light, she was the most outspoken critic of our Mayor during City Council meetings.
Now she is hugging him and smiling, saying what a great mayor we have.
Once again, another potential candidate bought off by the mayor.
The wheels came off Shorty's plans in spectacular fashion!
We believe that he was going to run on "I held the line against greedy cops and other (coincidentally unionized) municipal employees!" since the city didn't get the Olympics.
Now that more good citizens are seeing (illuminated in part by SCC) that he's full of shit and more people are starting to ask questions about fiscal mismanagement/incompetence/outright theft (except the suburbanites who think "Dick is doing such a great job..." 1991 - renewed ComEd for another 100 years
1992 - Loop Flood - Daley blamed Harold Washington
1993 - Said no to a "heat alert" plan, saying we aren't St. Louis
1995 - During the Summer 1995 100 Degree Heatwave, Daley said "We couldn't find the seniors." Some seniors live in clearly marked buildings that state "Senior Citizen Housing"

YOu got that right. CCSA is hiring many investigators right now. Several police are retiring early before 50 just to get in because after Jan 1 2011 - no more double pensions for investigators.
He should run. As fast a he can, out of the city. When Billy Bulger in Boston knew the city had turned on him and there was a new chief prosecutor coming up the pike, even HE decided against running for mayor of Boston. The fake reverends and other Blacks are today's top loyalists. Generally speaking and historically, the top loyalists were Whites (yes, this includes some police officers too) for over fifty years.
RE: The Fake Reverends. Don't forget they're being paid very large sums of money for show.
