I was switching back and forth between Ch32 and TBS during the second half.
The Washington Sentinels played on TBS, they played better too.
And speaking of looking bad...
A check of the PCAD from here in the Austin District revealed the following tidbits of carnage over in 011:
Two (2) separate shooting incidents in less than two hours, resulting in one wounded, and two honor students kilt dead...one being a 15 year old "aspiring rap star" while attending a block party.
My question: who will take the proverbial "bull by the horns" to go after the gang(s) responsible? I mean, come on!!! Two homicides less than 48 hours after Jody-Boy's gang summit where the promise of violating Constitutional rights was lectured about over "snacks and drinks"???
A call to the fellas in 011 yielded the following wealth of information on this topic as well: Seems there was certain intelligence gathered on possible retailiatory gunplay in the vicinity of Kostner & Monroe/Wilcox, but no additional troops were deployed. Could it be that we JUST DON'T HAVE THE MANPOWER? And why didn't the puds at the Crystal Ball Unit see this one coming? The hammering of another nail in the J-Fled coffin rings resoundingly!!!
I envision the wonder cops from the Policy Group and the Predictive Analysis Group filling out their parker books as we speak. I wonder if any one of the strokes assigned to either one of these units even knows how to fill out a tow form, or perform a traffic stop. Oh wait, what was I thinking? Those clout-heavy house mice won't have to get their hands dirty. The lowly, unclouted blue shirt slugs will be the ones ordered, persuaded and threatened to go out and try to enforce another bastardized "solution" to a problem that ain't going away.
I'm too disgusted and don't have the time or patience at this time to get into all the reasons why this "summit" has catastrophe written all over it. But I will say those that work the streets have just had their danger-level multiply exponentially because of this grand fuckup by Weis.

All they need is to have Jody give them a pep talk. "hey guys just knock it off! Oops, I gotta run". The predictive analysis commander will be able to accurately predict all plays by the opposition and accurately call plays. I propose a trade, Jody for Lovie. Bea, JJ, EB, Masters x3, Henny Penny, Carothers, Mealer, and Mean Gene for the Bears bench. After that the Bears will be 16-0, and the city will be safe again.
Guarentee it. Detroit will beat this team twice! They looked great.

time for the hawks to defend the world championship--- get into hockey because the bad news bears are going nowhere--- they will be 4-12 facing a tough schedule --- the hawks are going to be a team that nobody wants to play--- although they lost a lot of talent because of the cap restrictions, they will be good if they can avoid the injury bug--- niemi should fire his agent whoever he is because he was a fool not to take the three year deal he was offered--- the hawks have a solid defense and then you look at the offense and they are all studs--- marty turco will be a good fit for the hawks--- the hawks also have a ton of talent in their farm system with many of them ready to play soon--- 30,000 plus a day go to whorehouse field to watch the cubs play stickball--- they are 22 under 500 and suck so bad that they should all play for free the rest of the year--- how people can pay good money to go watch that disaster is beyond me--- the highest payroll in the nl and they are horrible....
Hey Bears Guy, Lovie Smith doesn't seem to do well during the regular season either.O.K. once but they lost the big one and Lovie ain't getting back there with this team.
Hey, morons, it's preseason. This is a chance to see what rookies will work out. Get over the win/loss record for these few games. It's also a chance to see what plays work and how the plays are being called in each situation. Be VERY HAPPY they got rid of Ron Turner. Let's see what the new guy can do. If they don't improve maybe they should get rid of the happiest Coach in the NFL and look to replace him with someone who's awake during the game. This is just my humble opinion. Hey, if memory serves me correct, didn't the Bears lose the majority of the preseason games before winning the Super Bowl?
This season they have to have one of the hardest schedules in the league. I suspect 6 wins is generous, this includes a split with detroit sweeps by min and gb . 6-10

No shit its preseason MORON, the freaking qb got sacked multiple times in the last 2 games alone..
So are the bears the only team playing at "preseason speed"
You have to expect some confusion with all the coach shuffling going on. Getting rid of Turner is a big deal and will pay dividends down the road, as will Mike Tice. The O line needs solid coaching help and the Bears needed a real offensive coordinator to go with a real QB.
The question is will Jay Cutler be able to survive long enough for the O line to firm up its pass blocking or will running for his life every game catch up with him.
Playing against the scrubs the kid QB Dan whatever looked pretty good. That might encourage Jay.
The Bears SUCK because much like the CPD there leadership SUCKS
