- (B) introduces the use of the Cost Recovery Incident Form - Detective Division (CPD-61.231) available online.
Even the D-Unit is expected to come up with it's fair share of money for Shortshanks. No wonder the clearance rate is still falling.

That is not a revenue generator. It is designed to decrease the amount of agg batteries reported and charged. If you create more hoops for the seriously understaffef detective unit then maybe more agg batteries will become simple batteries.
How many offenders charged with criminal damage to city property actually pay for the damages they caused? Bricks thrown at squad cars damaging windows and body panels, offenders throwing their drug rental stolen cars into reverse damaging bumpers, kicking out windows and damaging door frames. None end up paying for the damage or are actually are ordered to pay restitution. This order is nothing more than smoke and mirrors designed to kill crime stats.

I'm sorry for the increase in paperwork for the dicks but these shit heads should have to pay the city back for damages. If they are successful in that, then you've got a beeline to a civil suit on the jerk.

THEY DON'T PAY FOR THIER HOUSING, FOOD,KIDS,ANYTHING AS IT IS. TELL ME HOW THIS EXTRA PAPERWORK WILL HELP?
THEY JUST WILL PUT A LEAN ON THEM, AND DEDUCT THE PAST DUE AMOUNT FROM THE FUTURE SETTLEMENTS THE DOGS WOULD RECEIVE FROM BOGUS LAWSUITS.
