- ...and a knife and box cutter, according to another U.S. official who had been briefed on the investigation.

Oh, I gotcha, SCC. The photo of the cell phone with homemade circuit board added was probably not from this latest incident, but was presented as an example from some earlier investigation. OK. Comment still stands; next time the taped-up cell phones would have had triggers like this, and next time it wouldn't have been Pepto-Bismol in that bottle.

Our attorneys were in Federal Court on 31 Aug, 2010 to file the Temporary Restraining Order for the upcoming promotions to Lieutenant.
The city filed an answer and has promised Judge Dow that the city wants the class to start on 07 Sept 2010, but that no Lieutenant will be sworn in prior to 01 Oct, 2010.
The Judge will hear the city’s witness on 10 Sept and indicated he will conduct a status hearing on the Association’s request for the TRO on 15 Sep 2010. Depositions that should have been completed by now will begin shortly.
As more information becomes available it will be posted.
