Andy Griffith Predictive Analysis
Sent to us by a long time reader. We can't embed it into the post, so you'll have to click on the link and head over to YouTube to see it.
Watch the first two minutes or so.
On a side note, we like how the scene opens with Andy checking out the Department shotgun and putting it up in the rack? This was accepted as common practice in the 1950's and probably didn't even rate a mention at the producers' meetings.

Any coppers have the facts? Gang related? Thanks as my parents live close! But moving to Arizona soon!
You have to link Part 3. It really brings the point home.
Too bad Sheriff Taylor can't lead us.
What kind of power test did Mayberry P.D. have to go through to carry their heavy weapons?
Laughing all over my martini. God that was great. I remember that episode and thought the new guy was a stroke. Charts, and analysis stuff. How true that history repeats itself. Here it is 2010, not the 1950's and same sh*t, different times. All we need is good old fashioned police work for things to work. But noooooooooooooo, certain people got to mess with stuff.
But will he be able to predict violations of the Green River Ordinance?

Now we know where JFLED is getting the new ideas- from TV Land. But Ol' Barn, he played it right, took a leave of absence, cashed out his comp time & furlo days bought him a new Apache 4WD (for you youngins, that was the equivalent of today's Escalade), pimped around with that stylin' bad ass fedora, busting a hump for the man, saying how he likes the chance to be successful in the private sector.
Now, OUR Gold-Fife, he leaves the the grueling private sector to become magically transformed into success by DaleyFled Inc. busts no hump, maybe do a pushup, and collect
a sweet Gold pension all because he watched Nick At Nite.
damn!!! ok i better start watching more of Andy..maybe get an Idea I can sell for a gold star and a bump in pay...LOST IN FILLMORE
Poor JFife, I mean Barney Fife.
Inquiring minds want to know…why is the Deployment Operations Center (DOC) still in existence? Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that what they do could be absorbed by units that do the exact same things. Gangs…terrorism…yep…other units do it. So what gives? If other city departments have to consolidate why is the DOC exempt? Taxpayers want to know Mr. Superintendent.
