True story, a few months ago they were asking for resume's and qualifications for Sgt's to be assigned to Intelligence. Guy's with good resume's never even got called down for an interview. They were sent an email thanking them for their interest and that the opening had been filled. Funny thing was nobody was sent there on the transfer order.
A little digging turns up a sneaky hush, hush, move was made mid period and mid week, the spot was filled by an F/1 Sgt. M. Who had a grand total of 2 months in grade as a Sgt. Promoted just in this last class. Evdently she spent her whole career (11yrs.) As a PO in 017. And all of her two months as a Sgt. In 014. Wow, I can see how her vast experience as a Sgt. and no investigative background would be perfect for Intelligence. Lmoa!
Hmmm.... Or maybe she was one of Commander Mealer's dolly's back in the day in 017. It's all legit fella's. No wonder this Dept. Is a joke and no one has any incentive to bust their ass. Why bother,if hard work don't mean shit?

KNOWLEDGE IS PAIN! sometimes.......I remember coming to work and headin out to mix it up, always thinkin, bad guy was just around the corner, gotta buy a ticket to win ,kinda attitude.......THEN, the people I had the least respect for and NO trust in, to watch my back......became Sgts. good spots, etc. I kept on and figured my integrity would not let me "laydown".......more and more "issues" were being brought to my attention by co-workers at roll-call and coffee breaks.....DAMN!, if I never knew MY chances of getting killed, were MUCH higher than theirs.........it wouldn't bother me. For those not addicted to this soap opera, da mare's nephew is the same one who, along with da mare's son, smashed a kid in the head with a baseball bat at the Grand Beach vacation home. Both escaped with misdemeanor convictions.
Anyway, after feeding gobbles of gook to the Scum Times in order to keep his plumb job, Fled got a call from his favorite Scum Times contact asking about the 2004 murder case that occurred long before Fled came to the CPD.
Fled and da mare's Chief of Dicks having been on speaking terms for months. Sooo, Fled moved the murder investigation from A3 to A5 to "reinvestigate" which is something the Feds always do and something the city police never ever ever do.
Actually, the A3 dicks did nothing wrong and, in fact, arrested the offending mare nephew. Good old felony review rejected charges, which is something they are known to do quite often.
Now it appears that the SA and her "lost" felony review file may be painted into a corner. Seems as if some Grand Jury Subpoenas may be arriving at some connected peoples' homes to see where this itty bitty murder investigation may go. With da mare out of power and, more importantly out of favor, why not put his nephew in jail for murder?
Needless to say, da mare hasn't been returning Fled's phone calls.
i am still waiting for my interview for the policy group. everyone who was there got hooked up. wonder what will happen to the current crop. will they land nicely or did DB misread this one

Speaking of Intel, about 3 periods ago, they posted openings in the daily bulletins. Asked interested PO's to submit resumes along with letters of recommendation from 2 exempts. As of this moment no one has even been interviewed. If those openings were legit, why do I know that they're soon to be filled by soon to by Jodi staffers?
I got turned down from TRU back 8 years ago or so when it started. That was the best thing that ever happened to me. Who would want to work that unit.

Who cares if she's a "terrorist liaison"! How many others in this department are terror liaisons? We have a "boss" in my district who's a terror liaison and he's softer than puppy shit!
My personal opinion is anyone who is promoted needs to do their time in a district, I don't care who they are. But then again I've spent all 25 years in a district so I might be a little biased.

The mayors guys have been talking to frank wilson head of finance he is telling them they will immediately go to D-1 pay rate,that position is same as exempt when the party is over the pay is gone! Sgt M that went to intelligence has a background in intelligence and is more than qualified. She also went through the proper channels to apply and get that position. As usual people talking shit and not knowing a damn thing about what they're talking about.
For those of you ripping on Sgt. M, get a clue. Not only is she an extremely capable person but she has over 10 years experience dealing with a terrorist task force. Some people actually have work experience other than what they have done in CPD. She just doesn't feel the need to brag about her accomplishments. As for her alleged "squeeze", ...wrong again. Speaking of being cozy with Fort Fellatio. We got a guy at MSF who somehow managed to get detailed to TRU. Last time I looked he was working the desk and radio room at MSF. I don't know who his juice is, but I'd be willing to bet the farm he is one of Weis' boys. Good riddance you goof! Don't let the MSF door hit you on your worthless ass as you leave. Nobody liked you anyways.
Wow, Sgt. M has 10yrs experience on a terrorism task force? But yet only has 11yrs on CPD. Hmmm....so that means her experience either started as a PPO, or over 11years ago which means its outdated. And what exactly does a Terrorism Task Force do?
If she's "all that and a bag of chips" w/ experience, then why wasn't she already in a specialized unit before?
If she applied and went through "The proper channels" then why the sneaky move mid period? Why not put it on the transfer order if it's all legit?
And why weren't more if any applicant's called down for at least an interview?
And I'm sorry, but anybody who makes Sgt or Lt. should do a minimum of 2yrs in a district to learn the position, not 2 months before they go to a unit.
And lastly, I'm not slamming her or picking on her, but it doesn't look right, nor is it fair to others.
Wasn't hating on Sgt DB nor do I dislike the guy, just pointing out facts. Everything I said was true. Look it up. And he was very shaky with the Boys in Blue during his micro brief time in 011. Ask around.
He wasn't all "Pro-Police" there. More like "I'm not sticking my neck out for you guys"
He was and still is all about himself. But outside the job, I'm sure he probably is a good guy. It's "on the job" stuff I care about.
GFY! You must be one of the new hair gels at MSF? The badass you are talking about is well liked at MSF and will be missed by the REAL POLICE. I worked with him in both SOS and MSF. I'm still in shock how quickly me made the move to be honest. He had more heart and soul than you will ever know. What his former team did to him made me and others in the unit puke. He took it all in stride. Fuck that!!! Karma is a bitch and guys like him always come out on top. Seeing him go to TRU shows me that when he puts his mind to something, he's going to follow through. NOBODY could talk that mofo out of leaving. Trust me, I saw many bosses telling him to stay. Fuck! Good luck Terminator. Stay safe in TRU and if I'm ever in trouble, listen for my ass on radio. I'll welcome you anytime, anywhere and anyplace. Much respect.

You're right. I didn't like the po you are bashing. I loved him. MSF just lost a fine policeman to TRU over an egotistical LT's decision to cage him like an animal. An animal we really need out here these days. Good luck, MT.
