Evidently, the world didn't end as predicted. So now we have a few extra bills to explain to the spouse, including a new set of hockey skates, two lobster dinners and a few charges from one of those "discretion guaranteed" places.

Maybe those of us left behind weren't supposed to notice that the rapture has occurred.
Look around you. If anyone you know is missing, maybe they got beamed up and the rest of us are left here in purgatory.
Personally, I'm not sure I know anyone perfect enough to have been beamed up, anyway.

New Sup visiting districts and greeting the troops tonight. Seems like a nice guy. However did say that people would be detailed as soon as next week to patrol . I say put all the gang teams back In the districts, combine TRU and MSF. eliminate half the academy and TARA staff, reduce HQ personnel....... or just let people be and see how things turn out. broken windows therory, if it's broke fix it! we are not broke! All we need is a moral boost ( ride on jobs, acknowledge PO's , go after the citizens who sign the waiver and lie. back the P0's and petition to free Cozzi! ) eliminating spots and sending guys further from their home and families is not the way to do it. Firearm safety days at the FOP this coming Wednesday and Thursday. Two duty weapons inspected and cleaned by armorers from all the CPD approved manufacturers.
To the people who naysay weapons inspection, I'll give you this: In 25 years on this job, I have seen at least 5 broken revolvers and semi's caught by a inspecting Captain or LT. Lt RS was great at that and he is a certified S&W gunsmith.
Your sidearm tends to really be needed when it is needed on the street, take care of the fucker.

Don't be naive. Pfleger's on 9.5's transition team. McSupe has no choice but to meet with him.
i know some p/os were sure they were going to go. they probably thought that the same political juice that helped them get their worthless asses in this department would help them get to heaven. it was probably the same po that wrote that comment about the w/c remark about hell is here now. what a fricken goof!
