Trigger Happy South & West Side

No cops in evidence, so Frank Main doesn't really have a story:
  • Officials said that four people were critically wounded in three separate shootings.

In the first shooting, a man was shot and critically wounded in a shooting in the Park Manor neighborhood, authorities said.

[...]In the second shooting, a man was shot on the 7700 block of South Saginaw Avenue at about 7:30 p.m., officials said.

[...] At about 7:42 p.m., two men in their 20s were critically injured after a shooting on the 1500 block of South Karlov Avenue, Roccasalva said.

No 13 year-old criminals in the making either, so Mary "Mope-rah" Mitchell can't whine about a lack of respect for anything except life in general in that part of town.

Could someone define 'critically wounded', please? I mean, these ARE gunshot wounds, right? If they're dead, let's say dead, but I sorta think ANY gunshot wound is a 'critical' wound.

Those are some high totals for the first Murderous Monday of August.

Trigger-Happy Tuesday has just started and in spite of the new clouted EPA people declaring air quality alerts telling people to stay indoors...I don't think that's gonna work.

Where was "Cease Fire"? Are they waiting for their next government check before stopping all the violence? Aren't they being paid to bribe the gangs to knock off the shootings? Where is all the media outrage about that?

The ATF is Fast and Furiously handing out the weapons to the criminals to create the crisis's that we should not let go to waste.

Use the force Luke.

We can use this to win the hearts and minds of the people to take away more individual rights.

WRT: "Could someone define 'critically wounded', please? I mean, these ARE gunshot wounds, right? "

========

Agreed..

I've also seen reports of "a graze wound" followed by ..."in critical condition" so which is it?

Don't kid yourself. The media ALWAYS chooses it words carefully after evaluating the images that may be conjured up.

That said, one can only conclude that the use of these words and phrases in this manner is designed to create confusion and obfuscate the facts to run an agenda.

The police man has a graze wound and is listed in critical condition?

Yeah right.
