Beaches Closed Again

They can't blame it on the gangs today - everyone is wise to that excuse.

Damn that heat anyway!
  • High winds and waves buffeted the lakefront this evening, hours after the bike and jogging path was closed following National Weather Service warnings of severe weather and lakeshore flooding.

A high wind warning is in effect for the Chicago area from 3 p.m. this afternoon to 10 a.m. tomorrow morning.
Always with the weather. Extra gel for the hair, more tape for the hairpiece and the Department is good to go.

Commander in a certain "soon to be disbanded" area just asked a former partner and not his current partner if he would be interested in the citywide homicide team.

I can say I am proud to have worked with him and if he takes it the dept would get results. Good luck

Too bad the Gangbangers and Liberal crying towels were not on the lakefront today. The storm would have washed them all off land and far out into the lake. Easy way to get rid of trash.

I heard gmac was going to suck down a half dog of crown royal and put a serious dent into a 12 pack of rolling rocks before going off to surf at the north avenue beach--- he needed to clear his head in a major kind of way--- the inability to locate any coney island dogs is putting him into a serious funk...

Why don't Chicago folks learn to surf?

In response to Michael at 0436 - LOL, for some reason, that picture you just painted reminded me of the surfing scene in "Apocalypse Now:"

"If I say it's safe to surf this beach, Captain, it's safe to surf this beach!"

True, True, True.
The ticket was written by a Loop Traffic officer. Rahm's car is a lease car so no one knew it was his car. The ticket was "taken care of" by the Traffic C.O.

Why do the police and city have to keep warning these asshole Einstein's to stay away from the water front when we have storms like this. If you don't have enough common sense about your safety then maybe you should be allowed to drown. And I certainly would not go looking for them in the water. Let the fishies have them for lunch!

Was it parked ILLEGALLY? Then, shouldn't he be TRANSPARENT and ACCOUNTABLE, and PAY HIS PARKING TICKET?
I seem to remember our mayor ranting about NO MORE FREE RIDE for City employees, only a week or so ago.
Double standard for the clouted, as usual.

Yup...001 DC bent over like a cheap whore and non-suited it.

I want to know...where the fuck was the Limo Driver and why was that driver that stupid as to leave it on Mich Ave in the first place?

Only problem: half dogs don't come in an englewood holster. And every half dog comes with a pack of Luckies. Memories!

Leave the beaches open.

Nature's way to thinning the herd to those who'd want to hang out on the beach in weather like that.

parking ticket truth: limo driver was behind the wheel, mass transit special enjoyment officer wrote it from inside his car saw the driver behind the wheel and the vehicle running. driver also flashed his blue lights after the MTU copper mumbled something into his loudspeaker. vehicle was never left unattended and it didn't happen on Mich ave either.
