ZAP!

Like a bug killer for stupid people:
  • A man trying to steal copper wire in a Lockport park was killed when a power line fell on him, authorities said this morning.

Emergency personnel called to Dellwood Park at about 9:20 p.m. Wednesday found the man on fire and trapped by power lines, according to Lockport Township Fire Chief David Skoryi.

“No rescue attempt was possible,” he said. “Electricity had charged the ground. You could feel the electricity. You couldn’t get near."

Anyone bring the marshmallows?

After all, we must protect the children.

Happened in 018 years ago. I was on the east end of 013 with my FTO and had switched to Zone 4 just in time to hear a car call in an on-view fire on a utility pole adjacent to a factory near Wells and Chicago. Seconds later he's screaming about a man on fire! I couldn't get my FTO to drive there. Unlike the the accidental electrocution of the working man in 011 this was far from tragic. As we say, one less!

Not marshmallows for an electrical fire. Hot dogs. Electrical fires will melt the marshmallows, but nicely char a good Vienna Beef dog.

Speaking of thieves. Here's a 16th District resident that was doing a ton of Garage Burglaries. Take a look at the photos and see if you recognize any of the property.

What a blast. I guess tools and ladders and air compressors and stuff are worthless now after the condo collapse, so this idiot goes out and specializes in lifting golf clubs and tennis rackets instead -- like people with no work are going to go in for greens fees in a big way...

What the hell is a pawn shop going to do with the 150 tile saws it already has piled up in back?

The mind boggles.

This country is in deep, deep s__t.
