Congratulations to 007, who ran away with the homicide total this year. In fact, they keep rolling right up until the New Year:
- A teenager was fatally shot Saturday afternoon in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
Police responded at 3:05 p.m. to the 6000 block of South Green Street, according to police News Affairs Officer Darryl Baety, citing preliminary information.
Officers found an 18-year-old man who had been shot twice in the neck seated inside a White Cadillac at the Green Street address, according to police News Affairs...
The next closest competitor was so far distant, they weren't even in contention since July or August.

Tony is doing a good job, right McCrappy? His District leads in homicides by far, multiple Fed investigations, family history of political corruption, yet there he sits, like a King. A true role model for all the sneak thieves and merit hacks on this job. Merit detective, sergeant, lieutenant and Commander. He must have some amazing qualities, right?
Dillon is pretty cool, if slightly insane. Will be funny seeing her write people up for uniform infractions. Pretty sure her hair, nails and makeup are a bit out of uniform.

I tell u what, those cops from 007 are battle tested and most really know their shit tho. They've handled so many crime scenes, homicides, etc that they know this shit inside and out. Always a pleasure dealing with the great p.o.'s that call 007 home.

I'm tired of handjobs like these. I also work in 007. BFD. Most of the people I hear bragging about working in the Wood are the ones you never see after roll call until checkoff. Never backing up other coppers on shit, and definitely not doing any proactive work. I could name at least 10 people on my watch who look scared shitless on the most asinine domestics, and another 20 that are some of the laziest peices of crap this job has produced. Just becasue your assigned to 007 doesn't mean you actually work there.
And Carothers is still the Commander. What a joke. Where is the Area 1 Deputy Chief who is supposed to guide and support? I bet he gets promoted while he keeps leading Commanders to nowhere. How are Deputy Chief's rated and judged, by the people the Supervise right? What another joke! Also, when is the last time you saw Dana Alexander at work before 10 a.m. and there after 4 p.m.? Like I said, what a joke!
