Homicides Up in April
According to our readers, we're up to 34 in April. And there's still two days to go.
Last year, the total for April was only 30.
Evidently, the medical care and bad shot placement are sparing us a very bad spike (as if 10% wasn't bad enough) - 7 more shot Friday into Saturday.
And word coming in from 007 and 011 that the Violence Zones were working so well there that they discontinued them last week. Is there anything CompStat can't do? We mean besides not affect crime numbers.

Yep if their shot placement were better the 12 people shot fri-sat would push the April numbers up by an additional 40% vs last April right?

Every call write a report get an RD# the only way the city will hire is if crime overall goes up. Every baby momma drama RD #, every theft, criminal damage ,petty bs give them a report make them happy and show what the real crime numbers are. Please back each other up the city doesn't give a damn about you so take care of each other.

Chartered CTA train full of rail enthusiasts derails in South Loop: 'We now have a unique story to tell'
A CTA train chartered by railroad enthusiasts derailed today in the South Loop. Forty people had to walk to the nearest train station, officials said. The derailment is causing delays on the Green and Orange Lines. No injuries were reported.

They did dodge a bullet and we're glad that no-one was injured. Could of been a disaster. So they have a story to tell back home.
