Thanks Wrigleyville

After Bridgeport's show of support, verbally and physically clashing with protestors, the North side couldn't feel left out.

Today's march near Wrigley was interrupted by members of the neighborhood, spraying protestors with hoses, tossing eggs at them and general all around cursing the Occupy folks as wastrel layabouts.

Thanks Northsiders - even though you are Cub fans, your support means a lot to us.

Actually I live in Lakeview and we just thought the protesters were Sox fans up for the cross town series.

We wanted to make them feel as welcome on the north side as we do in that neighborhood the Sox play in. You know, whatzitcalled?

Oh, I remember, parking lot land.

I'm just curious - have the citizens of ANY other city pelted the unwashed occupy-nothing, anti-everythings with eggs before now?

The North and South sides have one thing in common. They don't like these lazy assholes any better than the police. A salute to all of them!

And it will never be reported by our lame stream media.

I know it's already been stated, but these scumbag protesters are the 1%. I recently moved out of the city, but had I stayed, I would've been representing the 99% just like the people of the North and South Sides have done so far. These people are annoying at best and dangerous at their worst. How many millions are we wasting just so the highly oppressed white 20-something guy with dreads can run wild through the city messing up the daily lives of it's hardworking, tax-paying citizens?

I would prefer our citizens would throw some house bricks at these demented fools but that would be against the law.

I am convinced that THE deterrent to protestors marching through the neighborhoods IS the car alarm. Set my alarm off and I'm out the door with my 9 Iron looking for the jag who f'd with my ride...fool!

I don't know of anyone in talking to actual residents that want these folks here. Can't wait until this is over.

Makes me proud to see the people of this city standing up for the people serving our city.

Stay safe! (and Go Cubs!)

thses jagoff protesters are everywhere and you get the sense that they don't even know why they are doing what they are doing--- it is just an excuse to act like an idiot and damage property--- if you ask them who the 5th president of the united states was they will tell you that it was jimmy john and his prime minister was potbelly....

wow! Wrigleyville has a pair. great news but you won't hear or read this by the MSM.

After today's loss to my beloved White Sox the
North siders were in no mood for crap... or
maybe they thought these were Sox fans heading back to the South side.

If they were sox fans, they would have brooms with them. Sox fans are ready for a sweep of the series. CUBS SUCK!

Just look at and listen to the protesters. You just naturally want to beat them. They are the biggest pussies I've ever seen. It's no wonder the residents of communities come out and do it when this filth invades their neighborhoods.

Keep up the good work, Chicago!

I had to sell my tickets for today's game to a friend of a friend. He asked me if they were going to protest at Wrigley and told him "yes they are". He thought twice but I brought up the fact that there are going to be angry and drunk sox and cub fans and hopefully they were going to get there asses kicked, extra entertainment. So he bought them. Fuck those liberal jobless shitbirds.

Another troll: Wow, I didn't hear about this in the "offical media". Next time I am in Wriggleyville watching my favorite team beat the Cubs into Monday, I am going to be more respectful and pee only where it is appropriate. LOL. Seriously though, nice work Cubdom.

I am a die hard sox fan & only visit that place when the sox are playing. Yesterday I was there and there were 3 protestors yelling and screaming at a couple of chicago's finest. They were trying to bait them into doing something when 5 or 6 people walked up to them and threw drinks on the asshats and told them they needed a bath. When the protestors complained and told the cop to stop them and arrest them the cop said. Hey there are only 2 of us and too many of them, and if we try to take them down it my lead to an uncontroled disturbance that we can not handle.

It was a beautiful site to see
