FOP Gets in on the CeaseFire Act
- There is heavy friction between the Chicago police union and CeaseFire after the anti-violence organization helped a shooting suspect turn himself in earlier this week.
Some say it’s the non-profit’s first big “get” after receiving $1 million in city funding. But some say the news conference was all show for CeaseFire.
“I’m a little skeptical about why they’re throwing a press conference,” says [some guy], president of the Fraternal Order of Police. “It’s something to justify spending a million dollars and try to portray like they’re doing something for society.”
However, the Roseland CeaseFire claims they aren't affiliated with the CeaseFire that got a cool million from Rahm. So does this mean that there are different factions of CeaseFire and each faction will be demanding a million bucks to put a lid on shootings (almost 50 so far this week) and do follow-up investigations for named offenders that police investigations have narrowed down?

The boys from the 015th district violence reduction team made an interesting arrest last night. It started out as a delivery of heroin between two m/1's. Nothing out of the ordinary there, right? Well, once these two get into the station, one of them (the one that pitched a pack of heroin) tells the arresting officer that he works for cease fire. This mutt continues to tell the officer's that he works for the "safe passage" group of cease fire. He makes sure young children get to school safely. Then he told the officers he got the job through his Uncle Tio Hardiman. After dropping this bomb on those officers he then gave them the number to his uncle Tio, asked them to call him and said he would straighten everything out.

Hmmm, that gives me an idea for a darn good side business. I propose CeaseFire of Lincoln Square. I will write a grant to get some greenbacks from the city in exchange for brokering peace between the various factions of gangs operating in the 20 sector of the 019th District. Any ne'er do well wanting to turn themselves in to the police can come to us and we will guarantee safety while taking them to Area North Detective HQ, and also a get them a free meal from McDonalds at 2600 W Addison.
There are a few unsolved homicides and shootings around, those two tow truck drivers shot at Addison and Ashland for instance. One fatal and one survived. That shooter is still out there and it is only a matter of time before the Insane Tow Truck Maniac Latin Disciples get to him and he becomes another dead asshole in the ongoing tow truck guy war going on in the increasingly violent north side area.

If the city admits to giving cease fire a million you know that eventually it will come out that the amount is closer to 5 million. What's next..TIO getting Commanders pay and a car and driver?
Let's be clear, the million dollars had nothing to do with this 'ceasefire assistance'. The press seems to believe that this is the result of the new Million dollar agreement with ceasefire, and that it is already paying dividends. Below is the link to the announcement made by McI'lltryanythingandseewhatsticks, which clearly states this agreement will begin on July 13th. This turn-in was orchestrated before July 13th. So, it is apparent that the Million dollars is not needed because their 'work' was already being done without the million. In fact, we have had NO assistance since the million kicked in AND a couple people shot in 005 since it did start. Let's use that million to 'decrease the decrease' in our ranks.
A million given to a bunch a dope peddaling rats and Rahm has no money for our raise or for our pension.

From a troll: I watched Tio on the local Fox Chicago news 1/2 hour this morning. Is he the same Hardiman who ran the County Jail a number of years back? Rahm has made a big mistake as others have done before him. This is worse. Before, pandering politicians would simply cater to and provide a seat at the governing table to store front reverends to "share power" with them obviously in exchange for voting blocks. Rahm upped it to signing a contract and giving a million dollars of taxpayer money to Tio and HIS constitutents. He has placed a wedge between official law enforcement(you folks)and compromised you with the Ceasefire group. He was bought this group and I would expect them to show up at polling places much as the Panthers do and other racist groups at election time to steer voting. If anyone thinks this million dollar idea will be of much value in reducing violence you are mistaken. This will weaken and denegrate law enforcement. And by the way, you should get Mike Shields back in a beat car and have Pat Camden as the FOP spokesman. Mike seems uncomfortable on the camera. Just my opinion. The blue line has become stretched fiber optic thin. This is another reason why we cannot get crime under control. There are too many criminals and not enough cops. if an organization were to accept gifts from the government then there should be government guidelines/qualifications to get hired such as a physical, urine sample, probably fingerprint for these criminals and a series of written tests for these incompetent fools. i entirely doubt these idiots are doing all of this. if they're so legit supposedly then they should have this kind of hiring process already in place.

SCC, we received paper at R/C Friday about an internal brawl going on w/Cease Fire. The faction, calling themselves "Crazy Crew", threatened to sell more bags of dope & make sure a kid from one class reads "Lord of the Flies." This is all in efforts to beat somebody nicknamed "Piggy" w/a conch. Billy Golding is suspect leader of new faction.
They're really expecting us to buy anything at this point. It's starting to be so insulting to our collective intelligence U almost have to smile to keep the pain juices from coming out of your eyes.

SCC, I'm very curious as to why you constantly put down your police union.
It's very plain to see here that you are already divided amongst each other and conquered.
As you seem to be well aware, a union takes two sides to be effective, and when both sides can agree on a simple cause, you can be affective and powerful towards local government; the one's that are splitting you.
In a time of war against the police, you may want to stop the high school level of complainig and finger pointing, and come together and fight like a grown up.
You don't have to like the leadership on a personal level, but at least join ranks and fight together.

No. RAHM EMANUEL paid this thinly disguised gang a million dollars. The same Rahm Emanuel who declared to the press he would not allow the City to make pension contributions (as required by State law) to our fund.
