A dangerous time to be on the roads:

The traffic injuries seem to rivaling the shootings so far this week.

More stoplight cameras!

More speed cameras!

More money for the city's coffers, in an impossible attempt to make up for years of Daley mismanagement!

Rahm and his people should really push for more awareness from these stupid cyclists if they're opening more bike lanes. They really should hammer into their heads that they are subject to rules of te road, and will be held responsible if they cause an accident. Some of these cyclists are flat out stupid and ignore many traffic signals.

when all of sudden tax revenue from gasoline drops due to bikes, what tax will replace it. stickers for bikes would be obvious. tickets for traffic violations.

Bicycles and their riders must be licensed and cited, just like regular drivers! This will increase revenue and force compliance with traffic regulations. It will also piss off the arrogant Liberal bike riders who think they are so smart and leaving no carbon footprint. Until they get hit by an uninsured Sanctuary City Driver. Then instead of a carbon footprint, they leave a big blood smear on the pavement!

Speaking of cyclists. The exmayor who started it all, was just mentioned in the newspaper. In a story about how he has moved out of his developer owned condo and that it is now on the sales listings for $2.7 million. He was living there for free, on the developer, if I read the story right? They went on to say that he was no longer a southsider. He moved to another condo nearby and his south loop condo, that he actuaLLY owns, is vacant. As SCC would say, "unfucking, fucking believable!".

Illegals, lack of Traffic Enforcement, texting and talking on Cellphones are all making highly dangerous in Chicago , for Motorists and Pedestrians. It is like a 3rd World Hellhole Countey in many parts of the City, and for Gods sake take out those Reaffic Circles in neighborhood intersections. I've almost been hit head-on at least 5 times by dumb-asses who don't know how to go around in them the correct way. Those things are useless, costly to maintain, and dangerous.

People are nightmares on bicycles. Fast , reckless riding that endangers everyone. And they are wearing head sets to boot!

Rahm! Shouldn't bicycles be licensed as well as their operators if they are on the public way. Also what is a safe speed for bicycles and what safety gear should be required. You could draw millions from these violations, and shore up our pension.

Megabus must hire nothing but top of the line drivers. They were involved in a very bad crash down by Springfield this week as well.

the new breed that ride bicyles think they own the street. we also have other new comers who break the laws and holler racism if caught. the pols stick up for them for their vote. the last thing they want is their opportunity to steal from the taxpayers. the way to stop it is to vote the bums out. this also applies to fop reps.

There has been a definite increase in Megabus accident deaths. It is time to roll out the new Megabus Traffic Accident Death Reduction Initiative. Pay will be standard premium pay. The uniform will be 80/20 pants, blue uniform shirt according to season and the crown CPD cap with or without hat band as seasons dictate.

This will continue until further notice or until there is a significant decrease in the increase of Megabus traffic accident deaths. Schedules for this new initiative will be available on the never fail super duper CLEAR system, also known as the "maybe you get paid and then maybe you don't get paid timekeeping system."

Bikes and their bikers must be certified and mentioned, just like frequent drivers! This will improve income and power conformity with traffic rules.
