Judge Psycho Wins
As far as we can tell, not one judge lost their spot in Cook County:

Brim appeared in court this morning on a misdemeanor charge of battery.
"I'm just happy the people voted me back in," Brim said after her status hearing, at which a Cook County judge transferred her case to yet another judge.
Brim was charged in March after she allegedly shoved a sheriff’s deputy and tossed a set of keys toward another at a security checkpoint in the Daley Center. Her arrest came one day after she apparently went on an extended tirade while on the bench in the Markham courthouse.
Brim’s attorney James Montgomery said this morning that his client was "legally insane" at the time of the alleged battery.
Her defense is that she was "legally insane" yet she sits on the bench (or will) while her case gets kicked around from judge to judge unwilling to pull the trigger on her.
Why isn't the Chief Judge hearing this one?

The whole thing is nothing short of amazing. The Trib was on a mission to see Brim dumped. There were two splashy editorials ripping her. Unlike past judicial campaigns, the paper actively got behind the bar organization ratings, or at least those it agreed with. And every one of the bad judges, including the poster child, Brim, wins out. Retention is a complete joke and needs to be overhauled.

Why is a Cook County Judge hearing this case? One Cook County Judge ruling over another Cook County Judge. Is that not a "conflict". An outside Judge from: DuPage, Lake, Will etc. should be ruling on this case. Just Saying...
I'm an old guy (not a cop), who grew up on the Westside and have lived around Chicago all my life. Press, politics, clout and the rest is same-old, same-old. Sad to say it's not going to change. Democrats, Republicans, Whigs or Tories; they're all the same. Be safe and good luck.
This state,county,city is shot. I have voted most of my entire adult life and it has changed nothing! The only redeeming result was the defeat of the constitutional amendment relating to pensions. If there ever was a need for a third party, it's Illinois.
Brim is a racist any one who has sit through her court call can see it. The people of Cook County should be ashamed to re appoint her to the bench.

During election years I think police officers should comment on which judges we think should be retained. There was a judge at branch 34 named Stanley Hill who always rules against police in legtimate cases. Officers, whenever you see this judges name on any ballot please vote NO !!

If the state doesnt put her on the ATF list to prevent her from obtaining any firearm, then the state is liable for any injury she delivers with a firearm on any individual. Specifically the court officers are liable along with the prosecutors and may be subject to further charges.

An arrested judge's defense is temporary insanity because she's schizophrenic, and not responsible for her erratic behavior. She then gets retained by the electorate to preside over trials.

Judge and prosecutors have immunity when they step in shit. Not us.
Brim's attorney is James Montgomery, former partner of the late Johnny Cochran as Johnny branched out to Chicago.
Montgomery also lives directly next door to one Barack Obama in Hyde Park. Right exactly smack dab next door.
Think Judge Brim will lose her case? I doubt it.
