- Two men were killed and 17 others were wounded in gun violence across the city since early Saturday, officials said.
Just before 6 a.m. Saturday, Chicago Police officers found a man dead with a gunshot wound to his chest in the 9700 block of South Exchange.
Earlier at 4 a.m., a 19-year-old man was found shot with multiple wounds in the 5600 block of Shields, police said.
And at last count - no arrests. When are they making detectives again?

It really does deflect the blame onto the inanimate object that a gun truly is, and not the assholes that actually commited the crime.

You can have all the detectives in the world but the savages don't cooperate with the police. Most shootings can be or are solved, but good luck having a "good" victim or even more so a "good" witness.

I don't have a guv'ment funded cell phone and could not call 911. I don't have LINK and could not pay for shit. I don't have SNAP and went hungry. I don't have Section 8 housing and had to pay my own mortgage! I don't have Medicaid and had my needed medical procedure denied by the City. I have to have a drivers license, my job requires it. I have to speak english, my job requires that also. I paid 24% of my total income last year to the IRS and IL Dept of Revenue. My car died and I had to finance a basic car for $24,000.00 and that is a base model Honda.
My wife has to sew up tears on our clothes and buttons etc. That is when she gets home from work. At her job. I have basic cable and can watch local TV and see all the po' people protesting the racist crap because they don't have world class schools in their neighborhood. Free schools. They already get free bus service (I pay for that) free breakfast (I pay for that too) free lunch (yup, I pay for that too) and then the free ride home. Damn shame all that racist shit is their for the taking.
And now the messiah gets re-elected. Wonderful. I get to pay some more it looks like and pray my medical care doesn't get cut some more and that my pension has something left. But I might die early and not need any of that crap. Arghhhhhh!
