Citizen Patrol
- Oakland’s crime problems have gotten so bad that some people aren’t even bothering to call the cops anymore; instead, they’re trying to solve and prevent crimes themselves.
KPIX 5 cameras caught up with a half dozen neighbors in East Oakland’s Arcadia Park neighborhood Monday as they walked the streets on the lookout for crime. The vigilance has never seemed more necessary than now; 25 homes in the neighborhood have been burglarized over the last two months alone.
In a neighborhood that has started to feel like the wild west, people have even started posting “wanted” signs.
“You have to walk around in your house with a gun to feel safe here,” said Alaska Tarvins of the Arcadia Park Board of Directors.
Plans to "gate" their community have stalled and they "can't depend" on the police. They are currently looking into hiring private security.
Maybe they can do a combination of Farrakhan and Brookins - hire the gangs.

That's right the police can't help you. Society has the police force they always wanted. Remember you guys voted for the liberal politicians who watered down our judicial system. The criminals now have more rights then the citizens. You made your beds now lay in them. Pretty soon you won't even able to protect your own home because all the cuckold politicians want you to be victims.

Oakland must be a sinkhole. But at least the thieves are hitting on some of the right people. News Photographers and video people now being robbed for their expensive equipment.

Interesting, Brookins represents a "client" he swears up & down "i didn't know he was a gangbanger". Then we have Louie Farrakhan wanting to hire them for "security". When ever one is "arrested" they are community activists or work for CeaseFire. BTW, Mc535 how many of those firearms seizures did CeaseFire and Fruit Of Islam contribute to?

Does that apply to republican led Indiana that sent a bill to the governor's desk for his signature, that would citizens to legally resist law enforcement officers if an erroneously executed search warrant was served at their residence? Just imagine a typo that read 3517 instead of 3519 because someone's writing was illegible,and you enter the wrong house and a fight erupts. Once determined the search warrant was wrong those citizens can't be charged for resisting. So much for your liberal,socialist ,communist nonsense.

Because people are afraid they will be murdered if they did. Farrakhan's people are hardcore crazy.

Or just inact Texas style laws. Castle Doctrine, no gun control, 'stand your ground' law, and just let nature take it's course.
