Valet Sir?
This is great:
- So this morning I turn into the 011 District parking structure and am stopped by a guy in a black jacket with a "General Parking" patch on it. He motions for me to roll down the window so I do and he says " good morning, may I valet your car"?
So I look at him and realize it is Steve Georgas in disguise trying to commandeer my newer 4 door car for his VRI car shortage problems.
I said "no thanks but you can check the pressure in my tires".
We think we hurt ourselves laughing so hard. Nicely done.

Georges is a complete merit hack who has no Idea what he is doing. Another idiot boss running the dept into the ground. A few years back while he was in 018 he give a dispersal order for the entire 018 dist projects. Then says over the air, any gang member who is back at any building is to be locked up. I won't write a long rant but if you remember any of the dispersal classes we took, you are laughing your ass off at what he said.
Maybe the XO will use the cars for midnights.

Funny thing is... there actually used to be a PO assigned to patrol the garage and perimeter of the building once upon a blue moon. He had the guard shack all to himself up until about '93. Sweet gig. But that's when we had 400+ people assigned to 011.
My how times have changed. Got strokes like little Stevie Georgas steering the ship. If it wasn't for OC of the Greek persuasion, little Stevie would be slicing gyros meat off a spit in Greektown.

That would be about the extent of his police career... He's a total goof...never done a days work as a police officer, ever!! I can say that from first hand knowledge as I worked in a u it with him when he would do homework all day and zero police work!! Way to go stevie boy
The 14th Dist 3rd Watch Lt. Hagg, screamed and yelled to have a brand new Ford assigned to 1490, when it was supossed to be a new Sgts car. So now its sits in the parking lot with a beat tag of 1490 to go nowhere .. !!!!!!!!!!

Anyone remember the four officers he sparred on third watch special at Cabrini for a fight or shooting in one of the buildings on the first watch. He figured that because they allowed a party to continue upstairs on their watch..they were responsible for what happened later that morning. I think on appeal it went away.
Steve Goergas is great guy and a good stand up boss. It doesn't matter who makes it to the upper echelon of the CPD, you guys will tear them down. I challenge you to name 1 boss who was not ripped to shreads on this site. Cue the crickets sound effect. Later, stay safe.

Those of you who take cars from your district to VRI, beware! Georgas is keeping track, if you can afford to take a car from you district/unit to vri it must be extra. He will try to take that car away and reassign it to vri.
I think Georges has taziki sauce on the brain and alot of gyros meat in his belly !

Georgas is aces. If you only knew how much he has done for our fallen officers families. Why don't you hear about it, because he actually is not the type to tell you. If it wasn't for him. We would really be screwed. I am a exempt, say what you want. But if I die, knowing what I know behind the scenes. Georgas is the one who makes things right. He is a stand up guy who does what needs to be done. Also, he has the respect of every exempt on this job, some may not like him. But they respect him and that's what counts.
The Cabrini comment is totally false. I was there. The problem was the tac guys who did not know how to do their job and had to call for a supervisor to tell them. In the middle of the projects.

That is correct. I know the officers involved. The Lt, I believe it was JS, spoke up for the officers and it went away. They needed someone to hang out for a shooting I believe and hing it on the previous watch officers. It went nowhere.
here's a newsflash Mr. exempt. its the respect of the blue shirts that counts. not all of you stab -each-other-in-the-back exempts. you must be on here checking to see if any of your people are shittin on you. here's a question for you? how many of you gold stars really earned and deserve your spot and have leadership qualities to back it up?
