- Chicago police have warned businesses to be on alert for a potential problem on Michigan Avenue Saturday.
Authorities have learned a large group of teenagers may gather tomorrow to participate in what's described as "disruptive behavior".
The alert sent by police warns the teens plan to arriving at the Chicago and State intersection and gathering nearby at Chicago and Michigan avenues.
Also, TrueNewsUSA has heard mutterings of another "flash" attack being planned for the Chicago Ridge Mall today.
Now, does anyone else think it's pathetic, sad, and more than a little bit ridiculous that American citizens have to be warned to be on alert for roving bands of teens bent on destruction and mayhem?

The lack of understanding of culture and way of life is true. And I'm not saying this to condone Joe Q. Criminal. These clowns will get caught on a robbery and give me the yo brother speech cuz I'm black. I don't go for that. I'm a cop. I grew up on the southside. I have seen countless times where white people listened to black people at work/school and walked away with a negative connotation of the discussion and the person. I could see why they thought that but I also knew there was a serious miscommunication. Likewise I've seen it where I had to hopand explain why something a white person said was not racist. I knew why the black person was offended and why the white person didn't think it was offensive..but I didn't lose sight of the intention of the person speaking. That's life and if any cop on here tells me that they don't tailor their words and delivery to the audience than you can enjoy that path w/o me in your car. It sucks trying to calm down a pissed off person, not guilty of committing any offense, because another office didn't read the signs. We once got a door slammed in our face while my partner was having words with a Nigerian lady at her house because the stuff he said to her might work on a black person from the south side but a Nigerian, a woman at that, will not put up with that. We left with no one in cuffs, no charges,and no info.

The famous shoot to kill/shoot to maim order was not as it seemed. It was given a full week after calm was restored to the city.
I said CHICAGO RIDGE would be next.. Actually I believe the "Shoot-to-kill" order was directed at firebombers.
Whether the order was actually ever transmitted to the field troops, I have no idea. (I doubt it)
But it did make the news. And the word got the rioters in the streets.
It was like the "MAYHEM" switch was turned to the OFF position. Within a few hours, the nonsense virtually stopped.
And if someone was throwing a lit device into a possibly occupied building, deadly force was justified.

I think the message was loud and clear as I watched the television news reports that showed coppers at Chicago Ridge mall in wait, especially the copper holding the 4 foot long club. Kind of gave me a warm fuzzy feeling and sent a message to would be looters that an ass whooping was waiting. Next time a few K-9 cops and their partners would help.
No corporal punishment anywhere. That is where itall begins.

North Riverside had them again this weekend but this time were prepared and didn't put up with it. Still, is every mall or gathering place going to have to have police deployed so normal people can go about their business?
I don't see the problem with there behavior. It is typical Chicago style democrat behavior. Look at our politicians, do they really behave any different than those doing the wildings. They pillage the city of funds and funnel contracts to friends rather than local business. We elect criminal after criminal and we are surprised by there actions and behavior. Chicago has long since condoned this type of behavior. Now we as a city are condoning it from the residents.Do you disagree? Why isn't there outrage from citizens in either scenario. How many cities would have sat idly by as homicides topped 500? How many would have settled for the "more with less scenario" for police as crime continued to spike and while millions were spent on a park and Bike lanes? I agree something needs to be done about the Wildings but just like the department, change should start at the top. We can arrest group after group of these gangbangers, they'll just keep coming until the city recognizes it as a problem or until the citizens of this city force the media and government to take action.
