Eric Holder - "Lie Back and Enjoy It"
Remember this day - democrats want you to submit to criminals. You shouldn't defend yourself, because you might hurt their voters:
- Attorney General Eric Holder waded deeper into the controversy over the George Zimmerman case and verdict on Tuesday, suggesting a national review of "stand-your-ground" laws during a speech before the annual NAACP convention in Orlando.

"Separate and apart from the case that has drawn the nation's attention, it's time to question laws that senselessly expand the concept of self-defense and sow dangerous conflict in our neighborhoods," Holder said.
The comments were a reference to so-called "stand-your-ground" laws, which in Florida and other states allow people to use deadly force if they think their life is being threatened.
Let's just repeat that for the slower folks:

Does this dumbass even realize that Zimmerman didn't invoke a "stand-your-ground" defense and actually turned down a hearing on the issue, opting instead for straight up self-defense? Probably because it's difficult to "stand-your-ground" when you're lying on it with an assailant sitting on your chest. Once again, misrepresenting an issue in a roundabout attack on our Rights as citizens.
We can't believe this came out of the mouth of any public official, let alone the supposed highest law enforcement official in the land. We're actually speechless at the moment.

Lets observe, the FBI stated they looked into Zimmerman and found nothing to bring charges, Zimmerman had a trial by jury, found not guilty now the likes of McCarthy pledger sharpton Jackson and others want Zimmerman fried, what a country! Stand You ground wasn't even used in that case..A simple self defense was...They have now shifted their anger away from Zimmerman and are focusing on Stand Your Ground. This way, if they repeal the law, they can say they won. Picture this, you liberal asses. Zimmerman was following Martin. Martin turned around and ATTACKED Zimmerman. HE was the aggressor. He punched him, got him down on the ground, got on top of him and started banging his head into the sidewalk.

I think what Holder means is, Zimmerman should have retreated his way through the concrete sidewalk, as Travon was atop of him, until he was six feet under.

I encourage all to read the 08 July 2013 case report of the CSA at 1007 N. Western Av. Why no hate crime charges there? The black, hooded offender clearly states what he wants from the female victim and why he wants it! Had the victim been armed with a handgun her attacker would, and should have been the next Trayvon. And Eric Holder tells us she should be the next George Zimmerman.

The stand your ground law in Florida is most often used by gangbangers who are charged with murdering children caught in gang crossfire. It is rarely, if ever, used by neighborhood watchmen.
When a thug is charged with murder for shooting some kid on the street, all the thug has to do is claim that another gangbanger was shooting at him. The state is then barred from a murder prosecution unless the state can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant was not being shot at. A very, very difficult standard.
In fact, it is now so difficult in Florida to get murder convictions in these cases that the state dramatically raised the manslaughter penalty when the offender uses a firearm. This is why Zimmermann still faced a 30 year sentence if he was convicted on the lesser manslaughter offense.
Prosecutors in the state are trying to get the stand your ground law changed to prevent this, but it is now so political, no one is thinking clearly.
When passing laws, it is important to try to see the unintended consequences, not just the intended ones.
Hollywood got a taste of "Chicago style wilding" yesterday when flash mobs of black kids showed up and robbed white tourists of their IPhones and cameras. The coverage by KTLA in Los Angeles forgot to describe the offenders as black and the victims as white. I wonder how the blacks picked the tourists out of the crowd on the street?

Excellent analysis, and there is an irony to all of this. I've been a concealed carry license holder in Oklahoma since around 1997, not long after the legislation passed here. Last year, "open carry" became legal here for all those holding a current Oklahoma CCL, under basically the same restrictions as the original legislation, i.e., no civilian carry into government buildings, bars, schools, places otherwise posted "no weapons allowed" by private owners, etc, etc.
Though I supported the "open carry" update to the OK CCL law, I never intended to open carry much for all sorts of reasons, an important one being that I didn't want to be the excuse for a horrified soccer mom in the grocery store to waste local law enforcement's time by summoning them to the scene on her cell phone with hysterical stories about some dude strutting by her with a scary-looking gun on his hip while checking out the Sirloin & Rib-eye specials at the meat case.
The Zimmerman persecution - and *especially* this recent fallout after his quite correct and just acquittal - has changed that outlook for me, in a way the silly, knee-jerk liberals have neither the brains nor even the simple common sense to appreciate or understand: everywhere I legally can (which, in Oklahoma, is a whole lot of places), I pretty much do carry openly these days. That way, there can be no misunderstanding among some potential assailant of mine in public that he is about to physically attack a man openly and clearly and obviously armed. No crap about "unarmed teenager" and "only armed with skittles and iced tea": a person who illegally and feloniously puts their hands on me like Trayvon Martin - by the trial evidence - apparently did George Zimmerman that night in Sanford, Florida is going to be going into the deal with the full visual knowledge that he is attacking an armed man.
I expect to see a commensurate rise in "open carry" among civilians in all states in which it is currently legal, and for the same reasons; the liberals have spent years squawking about how concealed carry laws were going to lead to people openly carrying shootin' irons like they used to do in Dodge City in 1879 and now, thanks to their irresponsible hysteria and serial dishonesty over a clear-cut case of self-defense in Florida, their prophecy has been self-fulfilling.
I doubt a one of them, from Holder (and his boss) on down, sees the irony. Or recognizes their own deliberate, willfully-embraced, and fact-free stupidity.

When I heard that, I was not blown away or shocked. I was impressed with the fact that this Racist Administration continues to tell the public CLEARLY (make no mistake) exactly what their plan is for "New America".

For some, it's too much to fathom so denial is the answer. For the small % that are not afraid to face what's coming, it's pretty stressful if you have family.

I see you missed the history lesson that talked about Nixon's resignation and; his attorney general being indicted,tried,convicted,and sent to the federal penitentiary. Oh,I almost forgot. The succeeding attorney general was convicted of a misdemeanor and had to resign. Read a book. Bolling and Malkin aren't history teachers or buffs for that matter.
