Feeling Bad About Crime?

Rahm has a new initiative to brighten your day, especially in those well-to-do neighborhoods who aren't used to seeing the yellow tape adorning their fences:

That Rahm....always thinking ahead.

That Rahm had the wisdom to pick the greatest leader the Chicago PD has ever known. Under Rahn's enlightened hand and democratic leadership Chicago's economic woes are almost over and a new age of peace, love and prosperity between all races is about to begin.

Speaking of feeling bad about crime...How many people have to get their ass's kicked at Belmont and Sheffield or up and down the side streets off of Racine before they put some sort of saturation in the area ? How many trips to the Masonic does it take ?

In an effort to diffuse the Murder City moniker that Chicago has gotten, Mayor Rahm Emanuel has ordered all crime scenes to be taped off with his newly purchased crime scene tape. The Mayor insists that the families of murder victims will be comforted with this product and it will have a calming effect on local residents.

These rolls of tape are also fiscally prudent as they will only cost the City $5000 a roll when purchased in bulk through Vanecko Party City. Party On, Chicago!

It'll take a few of those drunks to die before anything happens. It's sad to say but the ghetto gets all the resources because they grab the headlines with the murders and shootings. The thugs are heading down there every Thursday-Sunday and wrecking havoc because there is no police presence and the ones they have there are not doing anything about it, be it they are lazy or afraid. It's sad to see them drive away and look in the other direction when these Mutts are standing on the sidewalks and grabbing every girl that walks by or they are fighting on the sidewalk.

To the unpublished early morning reading challenged moron -

Read Rule #1 on the right hand side of the blog. It's pretty clear and has been up for a couple of years now. We're sorry you're obviously retarded and can't communicate except by screaming.

Oh, and that word you use so freely? That hasn't been published here since we started the blog. Try to keep up Short Bus.

What it will take to get some (temporary) attention is another tragedy like we had a April 2010 where two female students from Northern Ireland were attacked by savages with a baseball bat.

As I recall one was a brilliant woman who will now mentally disabled and will live in a wheelchair the rest of her life.

When it happens again Rahm will say "Crime is down."; and McFuckup will say, "We've got 13,000 cops working on the case."

Savages is the most polite name or these offenders, and I include Rahm and McCarthy as they will be culpable for such a tragedy because of their greed and negligence.

CURIOUS

Manpower, or rather the deliberate lack of it is the source of so much of what is making us collectively miserable.

No hiring, destroying the memory and skills of the CPD, endangering the lives of cops working and the lives of our families, distorted crime stats because there are no cops to take the reports, failing pension system support and so on.

So if this is the cause, why isn't FOP making it an issue kie the CFD has done with there contracts. Or at least make the public aware of the shortages in no uncertain terms.

The figures could be easily had if you got the number of "Uniform Allowances" issued three times a year. People have called the Finance Payroll Processing and were stonewalled when they tried that. The figures could be had by painstakingly going through the records of FOP and PBPA or what is available from the city.

Then let’s see the numbers, some bar graphs and tell us why this job has gone to shit and cops can't get a backup or a night off.

Go ahead FOP and PBPA; get the numbers and let's see you publish them in a way that makes Rahm and McDumbass as liars out to the taxpaying citizens.

Its no secret about the number of police. Go on CLEAR and go by rank. It list the exact number in each rank
Or you can call the pension board. They definitely have the figures. They know exactly how many police are paying into the pension fund. Probably hard for you to believe but you dont pay into a pension if you are not working. Its also in the pension boards annual report.

Chicago Tops Major U.S. Cities With 4.4 Sworn Police Officers Per 1,000 People
Ed Krayewski|Sep. 17, 2013 3:50 pm

Steve Stearns/StearnsImages.com/flickrThe FBI’s latest crime statistics include an accounting of law enforcement employees in cities, towns, and counties across the country. The Department of Justice notes nationally there was an average of 2.4 sworn officers per 1,000 residents, with the largest rate in towns with fewer than 10,000 residents, which have an average of 3.6 sworn officers per 1,000 residents.

Of the ten most populated cities in America, Chicago had the highest rate, with 4.4 sworn officers per 1,000 residents, or 11,944 sworn officers.

11,944? Excuse me Rahm troll but I think we are now down to about 11,300. So is this somehow supposed to be acceptable.

If we are down that much from 13,000 that is 1056 to 1700 police officers, living breathing trained human beings that we don't have to man cars in our neighborhoods, give us backup when we need help or let get a day off when we need it. Where did that budget money for those officers go?

Stay Safe. Fuck Rahm and McAsshole! They are getting cops hurt and letting the savages run loose.

Probably hard for YOU to believe, but you're wrong.
There's lot of people out there on leave who pay into the pension fund while working someplace ELSE. If they can convince the pension board they're doing some 'law enforcement related' function, they continue paying in and accruing time 'on the job' without working for the CPD.
Have you forgotten the Huberman fiasco already?
