Shooting Map

A much more even distribution of shootings and killings this weekend.

At least McCarthy's wish last week that "no one will rest until everyone in Chicago enjoys the same sense of safety" is coming true - every neighborhood is slowly become equally miserable.

Congratulations.

Hey, Garry

We see that Chi-Town hasn't changed you a bit:
McCarthy Cooking the Books in Chi-Town

Give deBlasio a call. With your metric "skills", you've got a lock on Joanne Jaffe's old spot in the P-Js.

While acutely aware that this weekends carnage has encompassed a wider geographic range than usual, something tells me that the demographics of those involved hasn't changed one fucking bit.

Oops, there I go again being all prejudiced and shit.

9 dead and 43 shot

Don't worry boss I didn't see a thing and if I did I'm not about to arrest or shoot anyone. We don't want to give the ASA's any reason to represent us. Let alone have those private attorneys be able to make that student loan payment.

It's only getting to warmer

The goal of progressivism is for everyone to be equal. In Chicago, the goal is being reached.

Word from the 5th fl. is Rahm went apeshit at all the crime scene tape that was used. He was heard to say, "Can't we do more with less?"

Demographics are scrubbed out of the picture. Might reflect the fact that The Great Experiment is actively destroying society, as it is intended to.

It's all just called "gun violence" now.

Yes, and I am willing to bet that all of these shootings were carried out by holders of a concealed carry card. Mccarthy and the mayor were right in fighting against self defense measures.

The exponential growth of violent crime will chase out the remaining middle class and ultimately doom this city. This problem is not going away. A thousand more VRI platoons may temporarily contain the problem but is only an 8 hour band aid in an out of control inner city culture which glorifies immediate gratification and violence. Violence is a choice and way of life. Rap noise music, a cultural indicator of the inner city youth, is devoid of tradition yet glorifies violence, material items such as money, disrespect for their "females", getting high and chance fornication like barn animals in heat.

Why aren't the almost daily shootings, especially those resulting in multiple victims, predictably done by members and associates of these organized criminal groups not treated for what they are: acts of urban terrorism?

When you get done slicing and dicing and examining the problem and the horrendous results that's what it is: urban terrorism.

It's in the ghetto now but it is increasingly coming to the neighborhood near YOU.

Maybe I'm missing something and I should seek out the many benefits of a diverse ghetto experience anyway. Maybe it's me and I just don't understand the fine folks involved and appreciate the many cultural differences.

can we re-use the crime scene tape, and save tape monies (for the parks, the arenas, the children)?
