Another Aldercreature to Prison?
- A former employee of Ald. George Cardenas, 12th, alleged in a lawsuit Thursday that the politician is under federal investigation and that Cardenas fired her a day after she spoke with FBI agents about his office.
Cardenas, an alderman since 2003 who represents parts of the South and Southwest sides, denied being under investigation. He said Maria G. Chavez, the plaintiff, resigned.
Chavez’s Cook County lawsuit offered few details about the alleged inquiry, but it said the FBI was looking at “illegal hiring practices and other illegal operations” in Cardenas’ office.
Amazing how this all slips by the Inspector General and the Attorney General and all the other investigative bodies. And the Ethics Test - doesn't Cardenas have to take the Ethics test every year? Or does he have the secretary do it like every other connected boss in city politics?

In Chicago Ethics Training is like Oral Hygiene training for whores; does it make them do a better "Job"?
They could eliminate A LOT of this criminal element if they cut back to 20 - 25 Aldermen.
Look at the savings. SERIOUSLY.
All that money for salaries, pensions, benefits, and ward "slush funds" could be used to strengthen the police department (which really needs it)
More cars (that work), Better facilities (no more slum land bathrooms), more training (you NEED it), more ammo for training (compared to the suburbs that shoot quarterly - your 50 rounds a year is not even close)
Cut back on Aldermen and the CPD could get back up to a credible level across other departments nationwide.
We DON'T need Aldermen, we need better-equipped (and trained) police officers.
So take this "solution" to Rahm and tell him to do one thing right in his sorry-ass administration.
If ALL of you were smart, you would draft Trump to run against Rahm for Mayor. THAT would be a battle I would love to watch.
Both have huge egos - but only one can back it up.
He's not worried. If convicted, he will go to a nice "country club" prison then run for reelection and win after he's released. It's the Shitcago way.

His sister was my boss when I worked in the CPS Central Office. A rude, insensitive, unintelligent, teacher bashing shrew who never stopped speaking in cliches or reminding you she worked 90 work weeks. Other offices within 125 S. Clark had actual holiday parties, while she bought two cold Connie's pizzas and a wilted salad, telling us to spend the 45 minute celebration slot to "reflect upon your failures as a professional during this year". Well...other CPS staff, principals, and teachers despise her, and she's being called out for mismanaging funds for schools. Nice family.
I heard Cardenas dresses better than Rahm and thats why the heats on him.

I bumped into ald. Zalewski at the local OTB and he related that George was one of the straightest alderman that he knew. What does that tell you?!
This is the same aldermen who said during the last police contract that the police dont deserve a raise. Another Illinois Democrat politician possibly going to prison what else is new.

In the progressive lexicon it sounds like “Illegal" applies to hardworking immigrant individuals often working long days weekends included to put bread on the table while demanding social justice. It should read, "… undocumented hiring practices and other undocumented operations" in Cardenas’ office. We are told by the Marxist left that it is not "illegal" to be a human being seeking another nation’s employment justice. The undocumented work those jobs throngs of unemployed government entitlement collecting parasites refuse to do.
The IG's salary needs to be based on the number of indictments that they bring. For real.

No, it was an appropriate choice of words. Illegal means 'in violation of law', or 'a criminal act'. As in, taking bribes for facilitating a crime is ILLEGAL.

Cardenas is dirtier than dog poop! I have files on his butt and a LOT of proof why he BELONGS in PRISON! (along with many other of Chicago's aldermen) with a few exceptions!
