You want to see a media slime job, check out what the Washington Post is doing to Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson:
- The Washington Post has convicted Police Officer Darren Wilson, who shot Michael Brown, of guilt by association with a former troubled police force in a different town in a prior job than the one he held in Ferguson, MO, and of having parents who were in trouble with the law.
Seriously.
There is nothing, zero, nada, in the WaPo story linked below that shows Darren Wilson ever did anything wrong himself. In fact, to the extent his own conduct is even mentioned, it’s in the context of staying out of trouble.
But that does not stop WaPo from trashing Wilson by association.
The people over at Legal Insurrection have an amazing story here, outlining the step-by-step bias in the trashing of this officer:
- WaPo goes into great detail on another shooting of a black women by a Jennings police officer, with no claim Wilson was involved in any way. Just the opposite, WaPo, deep down in the story admits:
Robert Orr, the former Jennings police chief who retired in 2010, said of Wilson: “He was a good officer with us. There was no disciplinary action.”
The entire tale of Jennings and the shooting of the black woman is meant to smear Wilson as a racist by association, which is precisely how the media is playing the WaPo story.
They even trash his divorced and dead parents:
- There were problems at home. In 2001, when Wilson was a freshman in high school, his mother pleaded guilty to forgery and stealing. She was sentenced to five years in prison, although records suggest the court agreed to let her serve her sentence on probation.
She died of natural causes in November 2002, when Wilson was 16, records show. His stepfather, Tyler Harris, took over as his limited guardian, which ended when the boy turned 18.
A family friend, who spoke on the condition of anonymity out of fear of threats, said Wilson sought out a career in law enforcement as a way to create a solid foundation in his life that he’d been missing.
And exactly how much have we heard about the dead offender? His troubled home life? His criminal record? His lack of completing school? His parents divorce and their criminal records?
We'll give you a hint - it's approaching zero. This isn't reporting - it's character assassination and polluting any chance of a fair hearing is the entire state and surrounding states as well.

Some people who have had real tough breaks early in life can develop a sense of justice and never want to see other people hurt. They can make very good cops..

Let me write you a story. A young lad, the product of divorced parents with troubled personal lives, rises above it, aspires to a better, more stable life. a life where he can help others, those who sometimes can't help themselves.
He becomes a respected and award-winning police officer who chooses to work in Ferguson, Missouri, though he could choose to work anywhere at all in Missouri after passing the State exam.
While on routine patrol, he one day encounters a tall, heavy man who is under the influence of a mood-altering illegal substance. That man (unknown to the officer) has just committed a felony and is on the defensive even before the officer speaks to him.
The officer is injured so severely in the encounter that his vision is now impaired, yet the offender continues to batter the officer. In defense of his own life, the officer fires his gun to defeat the threat.
And the town was spared any subsequent crime or brutality at the hands of the felon. And the respected officer went home to his family. And they all lived happily ever after.
None of that happened to Michael Brown because social media went in to a uproar about how black shooting victims (yes, whether it be a suspected offender or not, they are still technically a "shooting victim". I don't want to catch any shit) are treated compared to high-profile white shooters/shooting victims. Huffpost did a piece on it. The Colorado theatre shooter for example, was a great "science student" and the media used what seemed to be an old prom photo. Where as everyone stresses a black "victim" photos should only be of gang pictures, them flipping the bird etc. arrest records and posing-with-gun photos are some of the first things brought up also(whether they be true or false, in this case atleast).
Truthfully, think about the Trayvon/Zimmerman case. We knew everything about Trayvon. While we really only knew that Zimmerman didn't like Mexicans from a myspace post.

Everyone went scouring for Facebook photos of her throwing up gang signs. While at the sametime Daley's nephew was out here punching people to death during drunken bar fights. I didn't read anything about the punching victims Facebook posts being rummaged through to see what type of statuses he's made in the past. I believe his mother was even threatening to sue (not sure if I'm right or wrong on the suing statement) the department.

That is generally a sign of a good solid person who wants to make something of themselves. Heard this one before. They are tired of other people's messups and problems, and want a good upright life for themselves. The case of Michael Brown, the unarmed, black teenager shot and killed by a white police officer, continues to make headlines weeks after the incident sparked riots and outrage in Ferguson, Missouri, and prompted a national debate.
Meanwhile, the case of Dillon Taylor, a white 20-year-old shot and killed by a black policeman outside a 7-Eleven in Utah has received virtually no media coverage beyond local news reports. His brother, who was with him at the 7-Eleven, says Taylor was unarmed.
The negligible coverage of the Taylor case by the mainstream media prompted many conservative critics to address the racial double standard. The Washington Times reports: "Talk-show host Rush Limbaugh blamed the discrepancy between the two cases on 'the liberal world view' that portrays whites as oppressors and blacks as victims."
The Times noted that CNN news host Jake Tapper acknowledged the discrepancy between the two cases, and noted that "the press often undercovers such topics as inner-city violence and the high rates of black-on-black crime."

The country is done, there is no repairing what has been done to lawenforcement and if you are out there still being proactive you need your god dam head checked! Gee, I'd better watch out. Seven years ago I worked at the same company as a pedophile who was caught during an undercover sting operation. That must mean I also try to pick up 14 year olds in chatrooms. If Ferguson PD had NOT released that video publicly, Holder would NEVER have let it see the light of day, not ever.
Officer Darren Wilson followed his police training and stopped the threat of a very large thug who repeatedly battered him to the point where Wilson probably lost vision in one eye, and was very probably about to be murdered by Michael Brown with the latter's bare hands. Because of Wilson's vision impairment by the robbery-offender, Michael Brown, it is very probable that Brown would attempt to disarm Wilson and kill the police officer with his own duty weapon!
A top official of the Chicago Police Department recently stated publicly that CPD would not have used military-style tactics against a looting and rioting mass, as had occurred in Ferguson, Missouri. That was an unnecessary comment, as no one can truly know, in advance, what CPD would do if a very large riot occurred, as happened in Chicago in 1968 when MLK was murdered.
Where is the courage from ANYONE at the top brass of CPD to step up to the plate and publicly proclaim that, so far as we know now with the information released to the public, that Officer Darren Wilson appears to have followed standard police procedure, and acted VERY APPROPRIATELY to defeat the threat of a criminal that had already inflicted upon him, great bodily harm??
The fact that NO ONE at the top of the CPD brass, is willing to come forward and defend and support Officer Wilson, brings discredit and dishonor to the Chicago Police Department. The retired chief of the St. Louis Metro Police defended Officer Wilson's very legal, and very justifiable actions. Where, oh where, is there an honorable man or woman at 35th & Michigan to do the same? The cowardly silence is deafening.

The media either is incapable of learning from their mistakes or doesn't care.
In the Ferguson case the media took an account of an incident that was so incredible that it needed to be verified before they ran with it.
The account that a modern day urban LEO chased a surrendering person down the street, shooting him, is so incredible as to be unbelievable. And the account came from an accompliss.
But instead of verifying it they just ran with and ran and ran with it. Until the truth finally dribbled out. And all the media does is slink away. Until the next time when they can get a week's worth of quick, cheap and easy footage.

Everyone already had so much invested in the narrative they wanted it was easier just to stick with it until it fades away. Poor slandered Off Wilson is just collateral damage. All over the country in news rooms editors are barking, "Find me the next Michael Brown story!" We are hoping for the best, Off Wilson. Not just that you don't get convicted; that you don't get CHARGED.

"Normandy school officials expect to pay about $15 million in transfer costs this school year: more than $1 million a month. Normandy chose Francis Howell as its receiving district and so must pay about $425,000 a month to bus nearly 450 students the 30 miles to Francis Howell schools.
"Barring a miracle or an unlikely infusion of emergency funds from the state legislature, Normandy officials say the district will be bankrupt by March."

I had to explain to a liberal friend in Wisconsin recently why an Officer would have to fire six rounds at a suspect. I broke it down in a way that even he could understand and hopefully changed his way of thinking regarding Police shootings and the training they receive. Sometimes we as LEOs have to explain to those who have never walked in our shoes the reasons thing are done the way they are because all they have to base their opinions on are the biased media. Hopefully I helped him to see reality and maybe next time he won't believe everything the media reports. God be with Off. Wilson and all the LEOs both active and retired.
