Sniper in PA
Identified after killing one trooper, wounding a second and missing a third:
- The suspect in the shooting of two Pennsylvania state troopers is a sharpshooting survivalist who specifically targeted cops and was out for mass murder, authorities said.
He's a skilled shooter who "doesn't miss," his father, a retired U.S. Army Major, told police. The father also told police that he was missing two weapons, a .308 rifle with a scope and an AK-47, according to court documents released today.
Suspect Eric Matthew Frein, 31, from Canadensis, Pa., practices survivalism -- the ability to survive without the help of government or society, and often storing food and guns, Pennsylvania police said today. Police who searched his home found a copy of a book entitled Sniper Training and Employment, according to the court documents.
Nightmare scenario. Bless the fallen and wounded and may the powers-that-be watch over everyone hunting/pursuing this offender.

No, he doesn't.
He had the same 24 hours God gives everyone else -- and in that span of time, he could have been getting things ready for winter, fixing up the car and caulking the house and home-canning some of the food from his garden.
Instead, he chose to ambush two policemen who weren't even bothering him -- killing one outright and gravely wounding the other.
Now he is going to be hunted down, and he will either be --
* Shot dead by police
* Commit suicide when cornered
or
* Spend the rest of his life in prison.
It is a good thing to be prepared for emergencies -- which seem to come more and more often in this disintegrating world. Those of us decent people who do make efforts to protect ourselves want nothing to do with such violent criminals.
I am going to be sitting here sipping a cold one while this guy crashes wild-eyed through the underbrush with helicopters criss-crossing overhead and dogs baying after him.
So who "survived" today?
Eric Matthew Frein is no "survivalist." He is a giant-sized f__kup.
They have a problem this doesn't seem the type of guy who will go down without a fight just by weapons choice be careful and St. Michael watch over the officers searching for this nut.
You don't have to be much of a "sharpshooter" to hide behind a tree and shoot a man with a hunting rifle. All you need to be is a sick coward.

Attended the union meeting on Tuesday. Very long and very informative. The whole day was a dog ass detective from Area North bitching. Did anyone really take the time to read the contract and consider the risks going to arbitration. All of the cry babies left to go eat pizza, DEAN for the record you guys did a great job.....Listen the the labor lawyers, they are very good.

We are rapidly approaching a lawless and immoral society in which it is acceptable to shootcand murder cops. I was surprised when we got the carbines. Bosses from Chicago would not have done that, most of them don't like guns.
These survivalist pussies never have the guts to survive in Iraq or Afganistan as a member of the military. They hone their skills in mommies basement.
Fight fire with fire. Bring in military snipers to hunt him down and eliminate the threat,

Randy Weaver and his family were and are good American people who just wanted to seperate from the negative, corrupt things in the USA. Very corrupt elements within US law enforcement would not let them alone and they harrassed, entraped and eventually murdered Randy Weaver's young son and murdered his wife who was holding a small baby. Please spread the word to all good Chicago law enforcement to study Ruby Ridge and work to respect the rights of regular Americans who just want to be left alone.
The headlines should read,
A suspect wanted in the ambush killings of the State Troopers was found dead of this morning of several hundred rounds to his head.
This is the worst case of suicide I've ever seen.

I went to the fop meeting yesterday and was a man in a mission for sure voting no to this contract. Kept an open mind and everything was explained very thoroughly and clear. I now understand why we got what we got. I am changing my vote to yes. People, stay informed.. This contract has extremely complex and confusing issues which I didn't understand until they were fully explained yesterday. Take advantage of the town hall meeting the fop is having and learn what is happening. Next meeting is at guides bar on archer ave Monday the 22nd of sept 1630hrs. All who are concerned... Who should be all of us need to attend. I went to the last meeting I will go to this one also just to understand it more and fact check the consistency if what was said yesterday. Take the time and go!!! If you don't, then you have nothing to complain about in the future

Sure thing. It's true. I been around emergency preparedness stuff for like 30 years, and some of our best guys were always working/retired law enforcement or either active or military vets. Guy who's still prez of the organization, his town just voted him "Citizen Of The Year" for all his volunteer efforts.
This s__t don't wash. A__hole is going down when they spot him and he opens up -- as he will. Hospital/prison/grave, or any combination.

I can never understand why people like this want to take out law enforcement why not take out criminals who commit murder, rape, robbery and aggravated battery not the police. All you crazy's that have the desire to kill, kill criminals and leave the men and woman who serve and protect alone.

I got the same feeling too. I don't give two sh*ts about him or what "set him off." He murdered a police officer and gravely wounded another. It's past time police officers stop assuming the survivalist gun nuts are patriots and love the police. People like Mr. Frein hate the police.

Wanted to speak on this earlier. Why does this guy and any other "high-profile" killers get excuses for lack of better words, but inner city criminals who are no different, get chalked up as a product of the game, Or sometimes, and I hate to say it, because they are black and Latino so it's only a "ehh, it's what they do". This coward gets no excuses, he took a life. He snapped because most people in general dislike cops. Period. Fuck if he's "crazy". Fuck if he's on meds. Fuck the excuses. He's a murderer-- a cop murderer. That's all that matters.
