- Amid civil unrest in Baltimore, Wednesday’s game between the White Sox and Orioles at Camden Yards has been moved to a 1:05 p.m. CT/2:05 p.m. ET start and will be closed to the public, the Orioles announced Tuesday. The game had been scheduled for Wednesday night.
This after two straight days of cancelled games and the organization locking 15,000 fans inside on Saturday night as riots spiraled outside.
On the bright side, the Sox play in front of crowds about as big as today's scheduled attendance - it'll be like having a home field advantage.

Once again, the thug minority ruins everything for the law abiding majority. And, no, this is not a racist comment, trolls. I don't care what color the thugs are, they're a plague that destroys everything decent.
Propriety would demand that they just cancel the games until it's safe, or move the venue to Chicago, or a neutral city that is not trying to destroy itself.
Just like at a Sox home game...no fans.
Baseball is a national past-time. Baseball is synonymous with being American. This is a National embarrassment. Baltimore should have just forfeited the game if this is the outcome.
Tear gas, water cannon, rubber bullets, arrests......etc.....

During protest today:
3 very angry male blacks we're yelling at police. They were eventually walked away by a female white to (2) two waiting cars with older female whites in them.
I said to them, "how much you guys getting paid?" The older female white quickly ushered them away from me. The male blacks looked as if they were surprised by how I knew.
Now I could be reading into this, but I feel my belief is very credible.
How about have the National Guard surround Camden Yards and give your first responders a day off to sit and watch a free baseball game? I think they deserve it.

Protests here yesterday and more scheduled for today. The idiots marched from 35th to 55th. If they really want attention, march from the river to 900 north on Michigan and loot all the stores. I am sure it will be all good. They don't let the police march there anymore. We are hidden behind Soldier field.

Since Obama seemed to throw the National Fop under the bus, as a contributing factor in the disturbances they should respond. They should pick up from Obamas lead and say we are going to have a dialog with our members. What they should do is announce that on 4th of July or Labor day weekend we are encouraging all law enforcement officers engage in a "standown", much similar to the military. During this stand down we urge all Leo to engage in a discussion about tactics training and procedures. GEORGIA – An East Point woman accused of making serious threats against police officers on her Facebook page is in jail.
Channel 2’s Liz Artz learned the FBI, Homeland Security, the District Attorney’s office and the New York Police Department assisted East Point police with Ebony Dickens’ arrest.
Dickens is accused of writing a Facebook post Monday using the name Tiffany Milan in which she called for “death to all white cops nationwide.”

Well the politicians are already making noise about Baltimore, Hillary is calling for body cameras for all police!
Now I think body cameras if they are such a good Idea should be worn all those elected to or running for office.
In our fair state more governors go to jail as a percentage of those employed than police officers. In Chicago the percentage of alderman/alderwomen going to jail is also much greater than police officers.
So the only solution it seems is they wear the body camera!

Alderman Brookins said on Chicago Tonight that he thinks our contract need to be changed because we make too much overtime in court when we're not always needed for the case.

I was wondering why Chiraq was not burning like Baltimogdishu? Why, after the Servin trial the Burge business and everything else aren't the south and west sides burning?
I also kept asking what the hell is the city, we the taxpayers are getting from all the NFL Draft Dog and Pony Show?
Then it dawned on me, maybe it wasn't planned this way but the reason we are not having riots at this moment is that some people have been paid off to be elsewhere and not cause trouble here.
The Draft non-sense is probably costing the city a huge amount of money ad what are we getting out of it? What is going into the city coffers? Hotel taxes? Restaurant taxes? Maybe some but what has been given up?
I'd like to see the financial scoreboard on this.
This is almost a small scale what the Olympics would have cost us. Are any reporters asking about this. No, I don't think so.

I never said I didn't care who they are. Criminals should be identified, arrested and face justice.
But, I think the question you meant to ask was 'why don't you care what color their skin is'.
I don't care because, even before MLK said it, my parents were raising their offspring to value someone by the content of their character, not the color of their skin. I judge people by their beliefs and actions, not their tan, and a white thug is no different than a black thug.
