Followup for Chicago Magazine
Someone posted this in the comment section. We thought we'd ask the readers to see if they knew the answer, especially in light of the numerous instances of crime on the expressways not appearing in CPD stats:
- What about crimes occurring on university campuses within Chicago? Are those like crimes on the expressways, not counted? Uic,northwestern,Loyola,northeastern,Chicago state, and univ of Chicago all have their own police depts.how about sanitary district property or railroad property. Lots of crimes handled by other police agencies in Chicago.
No victim, no crime...how about "no notification to Chicago, no crime."

You forgot about the forest preserves. Detective Division never investigated nor counted murders in the woods.
But that's not really Chicago.

If there is a Chicago RD number issued,it SHOULD be counted.
Loyola PD is useless. They don't even write case reports. We write them for them.
Cover up Chicago way! how about all the reclassified downgraded crime? Follows the downgraded everything ratings in this city! Crisis mode rahm time to cut welfare, no more for illegals, Cardenas wants to charge suburban people that come into the city to work, how about using that tactic to stop all illegals from coming here bet that 200 million George thinks the tax on suburban people would raise, would pale in comparison to the billions saved by not giving our money and resources to illegals!

George what do you say? Illegals free housing,health care,school, cash,food close the gates use drones to patrol any other country you're illegal your properly put in prison where you belong how about it George? City's bond rating rise pensions would be fully funded you could hire more needed police win win!
#1 under reported site of Chicago(besides every district in the city): metropolitan pier and exposition authority.
(OT) let us guess Toni your going to talk about criminal justice no experience but your an expert! Yea ok let us guess "far to many criminals that are black and brown like me commit almost all violent crimes" or will you lie?

Not really their fault its the university and supervisors a lot of them retired CPD and State. Their mentality is let Chicago handle it or give it to Chicago. A lot of the PO's their want to do police work but their hands are tied. They're more babysitters for rich students, they have police powers that they can't use.
