More CPS Problems

That crooked contract that BBB presided over now has all sorts of undertones:
  • Before his principal-training company came under federal criminal scrutiny for its lucrative deal with Chicago Public Schools, Gary Solomon previously faced allegations he used racial slurs in emails sent as a north suburban high school dean, according to documents released Thursday by his former employers.

Solomon is one of the owners of SUPES Academy, which received a $20.5 million no-bid contract from CPS in 2013. The FBI is investigating the awarding of the contract, and CPS CEO Barbara Byrd-Bennett — who once worked for SUPES — has taken a paid leave of absence after the existence of the federal corruption probe became public recently.

In 2001, Solomon was forced out of Niles West High School after his bosses accused him of “immoral and unprofessional” conduct, including allegations he kissed a female student, covered up students’ drug and alcohol use and sent “sexually suggestive” emails to students, the Chicago Sun-Times has reported.
Sounds like any regular city department...including some guy from out-of-state tossing around the casual racial slurs.

Is nothing sacred, is nothing on the up and hp in Chicago? Seems not if it involves the schools or teachers.
And little Johnny still can't read.

I blame the parents at Niles West. Sending sexually suggestive e-mails to students should result in the death penalty by the parents of Niles North.

Sexual dysfunction = death

Just another in a long line of contracts to those that do not deserve one.

And, why is BBB taking a PAID leave of absence?
It's just like a vacation for her then.

"Triple B" was set up to fail by Rahm/Rauner LLC.

Rahm/Rauner LLC specialize in "education reform" and pride themselves in knowing the tiniest details about the subject.

I asure you that they knew Mr. Solomaon had these problems, yet they allowed CPS to deal with him.

Giving an individual like "Triple B" access to millions of $$$ was the hight of irresponsibility. It was like giving a chimpanzee a flame thrower. Nothing good could come of it. Now they are using this scandal to beat up the system itself. Barely a week goes by without Gov. Warbucks suggesting they bankrupt CPS.

It's all about destroying the unions and enriching their friends.

I graduated from Niles West, and this doesn't surprise me. A lot of teachers did the "To Sir, with love" thing over the years.

"Solomon is one of the owners of SUPES Academy, which received a $20.5 million no-bid contract from CPS in 2013."

Another parasite, with that infinite-loop "we train the trainers" variety of crap.

I could have had the whole Tony Robbins world for free, a mountain of loose-leaf binders and "motivational" cassette tapes put out for trash pickup -- a good indicator of its value.

Hup! >cymbal crash< Another saltation! Will this Solomon land on its feet again? Will it be featured in the Tribune "Blue Sky Enterpreneurs" section, with another "startup" at other people's expense, or just in "Local Crime?"

We shall see.
